What an incredible 24 hours of transfer activity. Gameweek 2 of the Premier League saw the Liverpool machine quietly chug along with a 2-0 win over Burnley, with Kostas Tsimikas and Harvey Elliott impressing. Man City thrashed Norwich 5-0 and it's more of the same for the old Canaries, but what's up with Puma's third kits for a bunch of clubs? Who signed that off?!

Elsewhere, Man United limped to a disappointing 1-1 draw with Southampton, before Romelu Lukaku announced his arrival back to the Premier League with a debut goal within 15 minutes.

Harry Kane seems desperate for a move away from Spurs this summer as he boycotted training on Monday (update: on Tuesday as well) in an attempt to force a move. What could the fallout of this be? In a bit of a midweek surprise, the gang caught up with Ryan Baldi, football writer for The Independent, The Guardian, BBC Sport and more and author of the upcoming book 'The Dream Factory - Inside The Make Or Break World Of Football's Academies'.

What followed was just short of an hour of insightful conversation about how the youth system in England works, what are its strengths and what are its flaws, what goes into the making of superstars like Marcus Rashford, Trent Alexander Arnold, Mason Mount and others and what happens to the thousands of kids who slip through the cracks and never make it in the professional game.

What a spectacular tournament we have had. New stars were born, histories were rewritten and in the end, it was the old timers Chiellini and Bonucci who held the Euro 2020 trophy up proudly.

England did so well through the tournament to get to their first major final in 55 years, but unfortunately penalties took the dream away from them. Much has been said about Gareth Southgate's tactics and his strange use of substitutions, and the boys discuss it all. From Chiellini dragging Saka back cynically to Harry Maguire stepping up and thumping his penalty in, we cover it all.

We also take a moment to talk about the inevitable racist outpours on Bukayo Saka, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho's social media, and are saddened that in 2021, we STILL have to talk about this. Racism needs to stop. Period.

Two cracking semi finals, and the English have made history! It only took 55 years, but the Three Lions are in the finals of a major tournament...finally! The boys discuss the happenings of the two semis, with a masterclass in football from Spain and Italy, Chiellini's pre-penalty antics and Morata's inevitable Morata-ness. 

In the second semi, Denmark will feel hard done by because Damsgaard scored a worldie, Kasper Schmiechel played the best he could but England eventually prevailed thanks to a soft penalty in ET.
