And then there were four!

The quarters are done and dusted and Switzerland came oh so close to killing another giant. Massive effort to hold the Spaniards to 1-1 all through ET, but a disastrous penalty shootout both ways decided the tie in Spains favour. Shaqiri and Xhaka can be happy about their tournament though, and both should be commanding a pretty hefty fee in the summer transfer window.

The Italians held their resolve and brushed aside Belgium's 'golden generation'. Does Roberto Martinez deserve to stay in the job before the world cup, or should the Belgians make some drastic changes leading up to next year's showpiece event? One thing's for sure, the other Roberto has figured out how to manage a game well, and how to get his players deliver award winning acting performances.

Denmark powered through as well, with Joakim Maehle showing us what a perfect cross looks like (Till it was Luke Shaw's time to shine). The 10 million Euro Atalanta man is also going to have a lot of suitors! 

And finally, England steamrolled through Ukraine, scoring four goals and yet again, conceding none. We saw a Luke Shaw masterclass, Slabhead got on the scoresheet as well, and Harry Kane took one long lookg at his doubters and told them to sod off. 

Plus, we debut a new segment which is an evolution of a slightly older segment, called "In Other News!" We're going to have some fun with this one.

It's week 2 of the Euros and Italy look like the real deal! 3 victories and no goals conceded...could they go all the way and win it? The Italians are surely upping the style game at the Euros, whether it's Mancini's bespoke grey suit or Pessina's autographed PornHub bag!

Belgium are through as well, even though the brilliantly named Yussuf Yurary Poulsen threatened to spoil the party. Portugal couldn't halt the German artillery as they succumbed to a 2-4 defeat in what was arguably the game of the tournament! Meanwhile, England keep baffling with Southgate's annoying use of subs (or lack thereof) and Alvaro Morata just hates scoring goals.

I don't think anyone can ever forget the scenes, when in the 43rd minute of Denmark vs Finland, Danish talisman Christian Eriksen collapsed near the far touchline. He was administered CPR, a defibrillator was used and Eriksen is now recovering in a hospital with his condition reported as 'stable and good'.

In a situation like this, football takes a backseat. Nothing is more important than the life of a human being, and a life was saved thanks to the stellar efforts of the medical staff of Denmark, the referee Anthony Taylor, Danish captain Simon Kjaer and the rest of the Danish squad. But questions need to be asked about UEFA's terrible broadcasting sensibilities, and the options they gave the players on when to resume the match, if at all.

In other, insignificant news, England, the Netherlands, Italy and Austria all got victories, and the boys spend some time discussing those as well. Plus, we have the much awaited finale of Mukesh's game.

The Euros are upon us! As we get ready to dive into the festival that is EURO 2020, we take a look at Groups A-F to see who could cause an upset, what will happen in the Group of Death and if football is indeed coming home.

England's run up to the tournament was steady with two 1-0 victories over Austria and Romania, but Trent Alexander Arnold drops out of the squad due to injury. Did England really need another CB in Ben White? Or does that mean there's an injury concern for Harry Maguire? We also talk about Jordan Henderson's arrogance in stealing the penalty from Calvert-Lewin, missing it and then laughing about how he's missed more important penalties. Roy Keane wasn't too impressed, and neither were we.

In the French camp, Karim Benzema has been called back after 5 years and that could have led to some fireworks between him and Olivier Giroud, after the infamous go-kart comparisions. Always the gentleman though, Giroud calmly diffused the situation.

We also talk about the Brazilian national team's refusal to play the relocated Copa America, and what that means for head coach Tite and President Jair Bolsonaro.

What a turnaround by Thomas Tuchel! In a short period of time, TT has brought this Chelsea team together and led them to a top 4 finish and Europe's greatest prize! Prashant is visibly buzzing and says more than 5 words this episode, as we break down Chelsea's strengths and Pep's obsessive tinkering.

Winning the UCL was Aguero's final objective but it wasn't to be as the Argentine forward departs for Barcelona without a UCL winners medal. It's all class though, as he gifted the entire staff some expensive watches and even gave away his brand new Range Rover!

We also discuss David De Gea's performance in the Europa League final, Brentford's push into the Premier League and the aftermath of Carlo Ancelotti personally sticking a dagger into Aakarsh's heart. Our condolences.

Unfortunately, Mukesh had to drop off the recording early in the first half as the COVID scare we referenced at the beginning of the episode turned out to be true. We wish his family the best of health.

And there you have it - the club football season has ended with lots of drama! Leicester dropped out of the top 4 at the last minute, Atletico won the La Liga and LOSC Lille were crowned champions of France! The gang talks about all the PL action from the GW38 - Wijnaldum and Aguero's goodbyes, David Moyes achieving Europe, Brendan Rodgers and Leicester being content with a trophy and Everton getting NOTHING. 

In the second half, we bring on our first official 'FRIEND OF THE FLAG' - Shikher Sitoke! Shikher has been one of our most loyal listeners and the podcast's highest donor! We chat with Shikher about his introduction to Manchester United, before revealing the predictions we made for relegation candidates and top 4 at the beginning of the season. Did anyone get it bang on? Or were we all spectacularly off target, like a Jonjo Shelvey strike? Listen in to find out!

Brendan Rodgers and Leicester have another trophy! Brendy's Bottlers didn't bottle it as a Youri Tielemans' strike handed them a 1-0 victory over Chelsea! We talk about some interesting details from Rodgers' pre match preparations and give a shout out to Khun Top for being one of the best club owners in the Premier League.

Ferran Torres scored a hattrick in City's narrow 3-4 victory over Newcastle, and Mukesh was left vinidcated for having Ferran Torres in his FPL team, and as captain no less! Scott Carson made a rare appearance, flaunting his glorious dad bod. 

Keepers had a lovely time in the gameweek as Alisson scored from a corner in the 95th minute to give Liverpool a 2-1 victory over West Brom, and Mukesh can't stop watching those highlights! 

Also, we talk about the La Liga and Ligue 1 title races as Atletico and LOSC Lille get set for some celebrations! Oh...and what's happening with Harry Kane?!

The finalists of the Champions League and the Europa League have been decided! Man City and Chelsea will go for Europe's biggest prize, while United and Villareal will battle it out for Europe's seconds. The curtain raiser to the UCL final ended with a victory for Tuchel's men, with a failed panenka from Aguero dominating the headlines.

Elsewhere, Leicester bottled it yet again, going down in a blaze to Newcastle. What does this mean for Brendan Rodgers? Also, West Brom were relegated after losing 3-1 to Arsenal, and Big Sam's record of never being relegated is now over!

Sunday was going to be a big day in Manchester as United and Liverpool geared up to go head to head at Old Trafford! However, what we got was wannabe Timo Werner who was unable to control the ball, random kid who fell off the goalpost, and relentless cries for the Glazers to be kicked out. 

Elsewhere, Riyad Mahrez's freekick went through the wall and gave City a victory over PSG in the UCL semis, Marcelo could miss the second leg against Chelsea because he's been selected for polling duty, and Eduard Mendy had to work hard to keep his gloves on!
