The administrative sectors of the universes are organismal; the plight of one personality must to a certain extent be shared by all. Sin, being an attitude of the person toward reality, is destined to exhibit its inherent negativistic harvest upon any and all related levels of universe values. But the full consequences of erroneous thinking, evil-doing, or sinful planning are experienced only on the level of actual performance. The transgression of universe law may be fatal in the physical realm without seriously involving the mind or impairing the spiritual experience. Sin is fraught with fatal consequences to personality survival only when it is the attitude of the whole being, when it stands for the choosing of the mind and the willing of the soul." [67:7.4] (761.3) A disordered and somewhat chaotic world is some of our legacy of the Caligastic betrayal.  We'll discuss some of the ramifications and how our world has, in certain respects, remained backward, while having made definite progress in other ways. What are we to make of the extraordinary premium, from our perspective, that they put on, not blind, but unswerving faith?  What's so important about this? Join us this week as we tackle the planetary rebellion for the 4th week. In this episode we will discuss the Immediate repercussions of the rebellion. 67:5.1 Great confusion reigned in Dalamatia and thereabout for almost fifty years after the instigation of rebellion. The complete and radical reorganization of the whole world was attempted; revolution displaced evolution as the policy of cultural advancement and racial improvement. Among the superior and partially trained sojourners in and near Dalamatia there appeared a sudden advancement in cultural status, but when these new and radical methods were attempted on the outlying peoples, indescribable confusion and racial pandemonium was the immediate result. Liberty was quickly translated into license by the half-evolved primitive men of those days. What would the sudden advancements in cultural status be? 67:5.3 The Caligastia scheme for the immediate reconstruction of human society in accordance with his ideas of individual freedom and group liberties, proved a swift and more or less complete failure. Society quickly sank back to its old biologic level, and the forward struggle began all over, starting not very far in advance of where it was at the beginning of the Caligastia regime, this upheaval having left the world in confusion worse confounded. What shortcuts are we currently taking as a society that might seem intelligent but might prove to be a result of impatience and prove to be unsustainable? This week we dive into the Planetary rebellion for the third straight week. We enjoyed a great show last week and this show looks to be even better, as we welcome back Paula from her trip to California. We hope to cover pp 63:1 "The Seven Crucial Years" In this section we learn that upon the outbreak of Rebellion and Caligastia's announcement of his personal planetary authority, and the subsequent objection from the loyal Van resulted in the necessity for every being involved with celestial activity on the planet at that time having to choose between following the authority of Caligastia and his chosen leader Nod, or the leadership of Van "the Steadfast"  Seven years passed by until the the loyal personalities stationed on Urantia were finally addressed by celestial administrative authority. During that time many fantastic events occurred. Tales that remain in our scriptures and mythology to this very day. Concepts like Nephelim, Anunnaki, the Land of Nod, the Tree of Life, and many more intriguing legends. One specific character who stands above the rest is Amadon, the Loyal modified Andonic staff member and assistant to Van.  67:3.8 Amadon elected to stand with his chief throughout the long and trying struggle. And it was an inspiring sight to behold this child of the evolutionary races standing unmoved by the sophistries of Daligastia while throughout the seven-year struggle he and his loyal associates resisted with unyielding fortitude all of the deceptive teachings of the brilliant Caligastia 67:3.9 Caligastia, with a maximum of intelligence and a vast experience in universe affairs, went astray — embraced sin. Amadon, with a minimum of intelligence and utterly devoid of universe experience, remained steadfast in the service of the universe and in loyalty to his associate. This week we continue our study on the Planetary Rebellion on Urantia. Last week we spent a good amount of time setting the stage for our listeners regarding exactly what brought Caligastia to the decisions that resulted in an enormous betrayal. A betrayal so great that our planet is still recovering, and will continue to do so for thousands of years. Although Michael's sojourn on urantia in the flesh as Jesus technically ended the System rebellion on an administrative level, The rebellion still continues on a human level on this planet until all sympathy for the rebels has been extinguished. In this section we will learn about the difference between error, evil, and sin:   67:1.5 Error suggests lack of intellectual keenness; evil, deficiency of wisdom; sin, abject spiritual poverty; but iniquity is indicative of vanishing personality control. 67:1.6 And when sin has so many times been chosen and so often been repeated, it may become habitual. Habitual sinners can easily become iniquitous, become wholehearted rebels against the universe and all of its divine realities. While all manner of sins may be forgiven, we doubt whether the established iniquiter would ever sincerely experience sorrow for his misdeeds or accept forgiveness for his sins. We will also talk about the literal outbreak of rebellion that was issues by Caligastia from Dalamatia to the evolving mortals 200,000 years ago. Immediately this declaration was the Abjection from Van and the subsequent period of 7 years, during which all celestial beings stationed on Urantia at that time were to choose between rebellion and Loyalty. 67:2.6 For more than seven years this struggle continued. 200,000 years ago, Urantia was purposefully thrown into planetary rebellion. This created such challenges on this planet, that we are still recovering from this great disaster. Many tales of "The Devil" have been passed down throughout the ages and all of them have a real source, the person we have come to know as the devil, is in actuality the former Planetary Prince of Urantia: Caligastia. 67:1.1 For three hundred thousand years Caligastia had been in charge of Urantia when Satan, Lucifer’s assistant, made one of his periodic inspection calls. And when Satan arrived on the planet, his appearance in no way resembled your caricatures of his nefarious majesty. He was, and still is, a Lanonandek Son of great brilliance. “And no marvel, for Satan himself is a brilliant creature of light.” In this study, which will last a few weeks; we will introduce a few characters that have been part of our planetary folk tales for very long. These characters include: Satan, Lucifer, Caligastia, and Daligastia. Much information has been shared regarding Satan and Lucifer, while the information pertaining to Caligastia and his assistant Daligastia is rather new to this planet and thanks to the 5th Epochal revelation, we humans on Urantia can now learn and study the effects on this planet resulting from the decisions made by these nefarious personalities. This week on Cosmic Citizen we’ll explore the topic of individual spiritual growth in relation to community, with one of our most popular return guests, Harvard Divinity School Graduate, Angie Thurston. The good effort of each man benefits all men; the error or evil of each man augments the tribulation of all men. As moves the part, so moves the whole. As the progress of the whole, so the progress of the part. The relative velocities of part and whole determine whether the part is retarded by the inertia of the whole or is carried forward by the momentum of the cosmic brotherhood." This week we are back with our 7th installment of this great study. So far we have discussed the outbreak of rebellion, the Lucifer Manifesto, the theft of liberty, the mercy, justice and wisdom in the delay of adjudication, and now we will discuss "The Triumph of Love" 54:6.2 In all their dealings with intelligent beings, both the Creator Son and his Paradise Father are love dominated. It is impossible to comprehend many phases of the attitude of the universe rulers toward rebels and rebellion — sin and sinners — unless it be remembered that God as a Father takes precedence over all other phases of Deity manifestation in all the dealings of divinity with humanity. It should also be recalled that the Paradise Creator Sons are all mercy motivated. In this study we will also talk about the fact that, although ascending mortals may at one point or another actually experience rebellion, we are to be rest assured that if we are made to suffer evil in our lives as a result of the sins of others, no matter how terrible the situation one must endure: 54:6.4 ...you may rest secure in the eternal assurance that such tribulations are transient afflictions. None of these fraternal consequences of misbehavior in the group can ever jeopardize your eternal prospects or in the least degree deprive you of your divine right of Paradise ascension and God attainment. No one said this ascension career thing was going to be easy but if we are truly to become Agondonters we must learn to be highly perceptive, receptive, and discerning. The pursuit for truth is not an easy and relaxing path, there will be disappointment, failure, and confusion. But as we learn to live by the example of the master Jesus, we can then receive truth into our hearts and practice real faith. The faith that leads to peace that surpasses all understanding. This Planet, Urantia has endured much confusion since the ourbreak of the rebellion over 200,000 years ago. Many mortals are left asking questions as to why such evil and sin can persist for so long on our planet? The Urantia Book tells us that all of creation is one great family, starting from God the first source and center, and descending down to mortals. This very fact of cosmic relation between personalities can give some insight into why a loving parent would be slow to punish their erring child.  54:4.2 Parents, those who have borne and reared children, are better able to understand why Michael, a Creator-father, might be slow to condemn and destroy his own Sons. Jesus’ story of the prodigal son well illustrates how a loving father can long wait for the repentance of an erring child. Also in this study we will talk about the importance of free will. How the very fact that an evil-doing creature can actually choose to do wrong, commit sin, or choose to do good establishes the fact of free-will. The universe administrators sit back and give humans free liberty to choose. These merciful administrators even delay such execution of justice so that the erring creature might see the error of their ways and seek nigher ways of living that reflect a nature more reflective of truth, beauty and goodness. Divinity is truly merciful, and forgiving. 54:4.6 ...This restraint of justice by mercy proves that God is love, and that such a God of love dominates the universes and in mercy controls the fate and judgment of all his creatures. Lucifer showed impatience and made choices that resulted in great challenges for the rest of the universe family. This week we continue our study of the Lucifer Rebellion with Paper 54—Problems of The Lucifer Rebellion: We naturally wonder how God can allow sin to go unstopped and unpunished. 54:0.2  "The Gods neither create evil nor permit sin and rebellion. Potential evil is time-existent in a universe embracing differential levels of perfection meanings and values. Sin is potential in all realms where imperfect beings are endowed with the ability to choose between good and evil. The very conflicting presence of truth and untruth, fact and falsehood, constitutes the potentiality of error. The deliberate choice of evil constitutes sin; the willful rejection of truth is error; the persistent pursuit of sin and error is iniquity." What is wrong with focusing on our selves? 54:1.5  "Unbridled self-will and unregulated self-expression equal unmitigated selfishness, the acme of ungodliness. Liberty without the associated and ever-increasing conquest of self is a figment of egoistic mortal imagination. Self-motivated liberty is a conceptual illusion, a cruel deception. License masquerading in the garments of liberty is the forerunner of abject bondage." 54:1.8  “There is no error greater than that species of self-deception which leads intelligent beings to crave the exercise of power over other beings for the purpose of depriving these persons of their natural liberties. The golden rule of human fairness cries out against all such fraud, unfairness, selfishness, and unrighteousness.
