We feature a variety of informed and interesting guests who discuss the nature of our cosmic spiritual spectrum.  Special guest hosts Tom and Patricia Strawser will be discussing the power of prayer and effective prayer concepts from the Urantia Book. This week's show will be of special interest to anyone who hopes to interest young people in The Urantia Book. We'll be interviewing three amazingly bright young Urantia Book readers about an invitational they will be hosting in Boulder, CO on the first weekend in June. The week we will interviewing independant film maker Steven Scaffidi on his latest film, a thriller based on the mystery of the 11:11 phenomenon and the real life of one amazing man. Steven Scaffidi is an award-winning filmmaker who has written, produced, and directed many documentary and feature films for television and the big screen.  Steve explains: "Late one night, not too long ago, something very strange began happening to me around 11 PM.  For some reason I became restless and I started thinking about this unusual number 11.  I tried to put the number out of my mind and went to bed but I could not fall asleep.  Around three in the morning I finally got up to write down the number on a piece of paper along with fragments of a story that kept flashing in front of me as if they were projected on a movie screen.  I had no idea what any of this meant ...as if a bolt of lightning struck me from the heavens I knew what my story was about, and there was no doubt that I was destined to write it." This week on the Cosmic Citizen we will be discussing the ever pervasive belief in the doctrine of Blood Atonement, that Jesus had to shed his blood and die on the cross to atone for the sins of humankind. We will also discuss the currently controversial and very hot topic (no pun intended) of HELL. Are these teachings real or just the vestiges of the primitive religions of bygone eras?  The Urantia Book says they are... "wholly puerile and primitive, a philosophy unworthy of an enlightened age of science and truth."
