  • Top 10 Last 10
This week the lads are cleaning up what was left over from last year with mini-reviews of ten films each in their semi-regular Top 10 Last 10 show. This is the Ep where the guys pull together ten of their most recently watched films that they haven't spoken about on the podcast (well, Paul understand this qualifier; Wayne has more trouble with it), that are not linked in any other way. And while you might think this one will therefore be all nice and easy-going, it's actually a landmark episode for several reasons.

For starters, Paul is ready to give a film he saw 5 stars! Then there's the fact that he recommends EVERY film on his list. And finally, Wayne actually bothered to watch Parasite. Does he rate it? Or is it inexplicably below some low-brow comedy, causing the Soundboard to be unleashed and foul-mouthed tirades to follow?

Learn the answers to all these questions and more as The Countdown continues ...

  • Bad Boys For Life review
The first Bad Boys film in 17 years steams into theatres as a January release, and yet Wayne had it as one of his most anticipated films of the year! Doe he come to rue looking forward to Mike Lowry and Marcus Burnett saddling up again? Or is it REALLY Bad Boys for LIFE as far as Wayne is concerned?

Oh and just how badly will Paul Negatron all over this film? (That's right, that word is now a verb too.)

The answers may surprise you, as The Countdown continues ...

Who is looking forward to a sequel to The Hitman's Bodyguard? Can Wayne see past the Daniel Craigness of it all? And will Paul find a way to relive the Nolan from his anticipation?

  • The Top 10 Films of 2019
Well, here it is, dear listener, the culmination of the episodes shouting out the best and worst that 2019 had to offer. The boys have covered television and the worst films of the year, so now it's time to focus on the good. Nay, the GREAT! As Wayne and Paul this week countdown their very favourite films of 2019.

Now Paul has bee on record all year suggesting 2019 has eaten many bags of ass, so is he able to make a list of ten films or is he singing a different tune by the end of the Ep? And just how many "non-Paul" choices can his list manage? Wayne, meanwhile, does his usual thing with some very surprising choices, but does he find room for a horror film on his list? And can he love Seth Rogen any harder?

Find the answers to all these questions - and more! - as The Countdown continues ...

  • The Gentlemen review
Guy Ritchie returns to the genre that made him ... (well, Madonna's fashion accessory) ... the cockney gangster film! This time he brings Matthew McConaughey along for the ride, arms him with Charlie Hunnam, and has Hugh Grant and Colin Farrell occupy some very entertaining support roles. But is it all good enough to get near the hallowed ground occupied by Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels? And is there such a thing as too many uses of the C-word?

  • The WORST 10 Films of 2019

It is THAT time of year again. Wayne and Paul's Public Service Announcement where the very worst films of the preceding year are named and shamed, in the hope that YOU, dear listener, can be saved the pain and suffering that the boys endured in watching these massive POSs.

Just how angry will Paul get? Who or what will be the main subject of his ire? And does Wayne get on board the bagging-out train in a big way, or can he remain pure and chaste through this one? (Ha! This is Wayne we're talking about!)

Learn the answers to all these questions and more as The Countdown continues into 2020 ...

  • The Witcher review

Gamers have been eagerly awaiting Netflix's The Witcher to arrive, so they can watch Geralt of Rivia strut his stuff on the small screen, while Wayne was just frothing at the mouth to see Henry Cavill back in the saddle (ie half naked in the bath) ...

Man-crushes aside, the boys this week aim to determine if the new streaming series is any good and worth the eight plus hours of your time. Is this an intriguing establishing first season? Or is it needlessly complicated for non-gamers and too slow to make its point?

  • The Best & Worst of 2019 Television
2019 has all but ended and therefore it's time for the boys to kick off their traditional review of the year by first of all focusing on the small screen - that's right, television!

In the least formatted Ep of the year, Paul and Wayne talk through a non pre-determined number of shows, starting with their picks for the worst of the year and culminating with their reveals of the very best television for 2019.

Not surprisingly, Paul has more shows on his worst of list, but what controversial season does Wayne try to shoehorn in on both his worst AND best list? And who will have more genre shows on their list by the time this one is over?

  • The Rise of Skywalker review

So it all comes to an end. After 42 years, the Skywalker saga comes to a close, with JJ Abrams entrusted to guide the saga through its conclusion, but can the man who made Star Trek cool again and wowed most with The Force Awakens stick the landing? Or was it a baffling move by Disney to re-hire him after he refused the offer to do Episode VIII and then clearly didn't like the choices Rian Johnson made in that film?

The boys answer these questions AND give their definitive ranking of all Star Wars films as The Countdown continues ...
