  • The C.O.W.S. U.S. Presidential Election Night 2020
The Context of White Supremacy hosts live coverage of the 2020 U.S. presidential election. White dominated media outlets have insisted that Democratic challenger Joe Biden has a substantial - if not insurmountable - lead in the polls over President Donald J. Trump. This is right similar to what was said in 2016. Regardless of which White Man triumphs, the System of White Supremacy will continue to preside globally. We'll monitor reports of violence as well as what happens at the polls. We encourage listeners to dial in with their experiences at the voting booth and or observations on the battle for White House. #4MoYears INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 720.716.7300 CODE: 564943#

  • The C.O.W.S. w/ Dr. Patricia Sias: White Supremacy in the Workplace
The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Dr. Patricia Sias. An organizational communications specialist and professor at the University of Arizona, Dr. Patricia Sias "conducts research on workplace relationships, uncertainty, and leadership." Gus became aware of her work in through a New York Times report on friends in the workplace. The article discusses how many workers miss hanging out ( and sometimes consuming alcohol) with colleagues in the workplace. We wanted to ask Dr. Sias about strategies for reducing problems in the workplace as well as the problems many black employees experience "making friends" on the job. We'll get her views on the normal problems we discuss each week during Neutralizing Workplace Racism: unwanted touching, bullying, false accusations. Since we're a day from the big election, we'll ask Dr. Sias for tips on avoiding the subject of politics with coworkers.#4MoYears INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 720.716.7300 CODE: 564943#

  • The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 10/31/20
The Context of White Supremacy hosts The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS Days before the 2020 U.S. presidential election, and enforcement agencies and media outlets across the country predict a high likelihood of violence regardless of whether Joe Biden or President Donald J. Trump triumphs. While cities prepare for potential widespread violence and criminal behavior, police in Chicago and Philadelphia killed two more black males. both cities have witnessed protests, and the president warned the "city of brotherly love" not to let the unrest fester. #LawAndOrder The rona remains undefeated causing areas around the world to implement new restrictions. In between campaigning, President Trump made time to swear in Amy Coney Barrett as the newest member of the Supreme Court. The president had his favorite African American on the bench, Associate Justice Clarence Thomas swear Barrett in. Unless Gus is mistaken, This is the first time a black judge has done the honors. #4MoYears INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE

  • The C.O.W.S. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 10/30/20
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. The ruckus of 2020 continues to disrupt workplaces around the world. This week, in addition to the usual allegations of mistreatment in the workplace, there were a number of reports offering suggestions to minimize problems. The New York Times reminded readers to refrain from viewing pornographic material if using device owned by your employer. Echoing C.O.W.S. recommendations, they also advise being careful not to reveal too much of your residence if you're required to participate in zoom calls. New York public radio reports that although many workers aren't trekking to the job site, workplace bullying and harassment continues. They offered suggestions on how to combat online mistreatment. #ScreenShots With the election being days away, we'll remind folks to remain tight-lipped about politics. #BlackSelfRespect

  • The C.O.W.S. Isabel Wilkerson's Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents Part 8
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 8th study session on Isabel Wilkerson's 2020 offering, Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents. A Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, Wilkerson received a 2015 National Humanities Award from former President Barack Obama and garnered widespread acclaim for her 2010 publication, The Warmth of Other Suns. Caste examines different regions of the world where groups of individuals are mistreated because they are not White. Wilkerson explores Nazi Germany, India and the United States. Gus and many C.O.W.S.'s listeners raved about Wilkerson's debut publication, but this volume gets worse by the chapter. And a listener alerted Gus that Ms. Wilkerson was married to a White Man, Brett Hamilton. In fact, Wilkerson mentions Hamilton in her Acknowledgements. She writes: "I am grateful beyond language for the love and devotion of Brett Hamilton, the kindest and most giving husband I could have wished for, a gift from the universe. Many of the observations in this book first found a voice in our deeply fulfilling conversations and in our life together. While it breaks my heart that neither he nor my parents lived to see this culmination of what we, each in our own ways, sought to transcend, I feel his cosmic embrace as I send this out to the world, and I know that all three of them are with me now and always." #2ndWorstBookEver Additionally, last week Wilkerson described the 2016 triumph of Donald J. Trump as the "resurgence" of caste/Racism. #ByeFelicia #CallThingsByTheirProperName INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE

  • The C.O.W.S. Global Sunday Talk on Racism 10/25/20
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the Global Sunday Talk on Racism. This program is uniquely designed to encourage participation from non-white people outside the United States and Victims of White Supremacy who may not be able to join during our typical broadcast time. Like the Covid-19 health crisis, the System of White Supremacy is a global enterprise, so Victims of Racism should keep a planetary - if not universal - perspective when contemplating solving The Problem. We're days from the U.S. presidential election. With debates done, we'll hear from non-white people around the world to predict what will have at the ballot box. We'll ask how the Biden and Trump campaigns are being discussed internationally. There were global protests about police violence and corruption in Nigeria. The Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) unit is accused of routinely violating human rights. Apparently, there have been protests in Austria, the United Kingdom and even here in the U.S. Also, Covid-19 continues to ravage the world. Many portions of Europe are imposing heft fines and new regulations to stem the tide of the virus. We'll hear if folks are complying with the new regulations. #4MoYears INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#

Halloween 2020 will be greatly muted if not shutdown globally. Social distancing has some advantages. Beyond this trifling triumph, it's been more of the same. Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett is a little bit closer to being officially confirmed. Once again, White people can fast-track many thing when they are serious. In Tulsa, Oklahoma ongoing excavations unearthed nearly a dozen coffins at a site believed to be one of the mass graves from the 1921 "race riot" where White Terrorists bombed and murdered hundreds of black people with impunity. We're two weeks from the presidential election and rife with Covid-19 surges, but as opposed to asking serious questions and interrogating White people... we've some how shifted attention to O'Shea Jackson, better known by his stage name, Ice Cube. Reports suggested the former "gansta rapper" may muck up the race for president. #4MoYears INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#

  • The C.O.W.S. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 10/23/20
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. Over the years, Gus often reminds non-white people that Racists are often unconcerned with our workplace efficiency, competence, or value to the company. The "best" black worker is still on a plantation, and still classified as a "niggra." This week television and film mogul Shonda Rhimes reported her exit from ABC network where she produced years of acclaimed television content and made Whites at the network billions. Even so, they were reluctant to compensate Rhimes for her historic accomplishments and got tacky and cheap about a $150 Disney World pass. We'll continue to discuss how the rona is impacting our work environment and counter-racist codes on the job. A New York Times report suggested that a number of White people are reporting loneliness and isolation after months of social distancing and remote work. They suggest hanging out at the water cooler and sharing a drink with co-workers can be important for mental health.

  • The C.O.W.S. Isabel Wilkerson's Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents Part 7
The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 7th study session on Isabel Wilkerson's 2020 offering, Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents. A Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, Wilkerson received a 2015 National Humanities Award from former President Barack Obama and garnered widespread acclaim for her 2010 publication, The Warmth of Other Suns. Gus and many C.O.W.S.'s listeners raved about Wilkerson's debut publication, but this volume gets worse by the chapter. And a listener alerted Gus that Ms. Wilkerson was married to a White Man, Brett Hamilton. In fact, her #TragicArragment apparently becomes a part of the text we're reading. During last week's session, Wilkerson continues to insist that White people are unwitting, ignorant, unconscious, suckers as it relates to the System of White Supremacy. She describes the System of Racism as being "unspoken," all while superficially discussing red-lining, sun down towns, and other explicit forms of terrorism. Disgustingly, Wilkerson echoes the same stale and incorrect notions that White Supremacy is solely practiced by White Men, writing that Racism "Endangered the life of... white women in the Jim Crow South." In addition to minimizing the role of Racist Women, Wilkerson continually posits that poor White people are tricked into working against their own interest and blaming their tribulations on dark people. Wilkerson (willfully?) ignores the Racist dedication of wealthy, "upper class," well-educated Whites and White Women of all backgrounds. #CallThingsByTheirProperName INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#
