Our episode today is with the wonderfully talented Canadian photographer Chloe Crane Leroux. If you aren't already one of her many, many instagram followers, you should definitely check out her page where she shares her work as a food and lifestyle photographer, and more recently as an influencer. She is known for her unique style and her romantic photos of Paris and beautiful interiors.
What really struck me with her career is how driven she is and has always been, knowing from a very young age what she was going to do with her life.
Like all of us, she struggled a huge deal to be forced to stay home, especially since her work relies so heavily on travelling and meeting people in person. But she made it through, reinvented herself and started 2021 a lot stronger and creatively fulfilled.
Lastly, she shares her best tips to become a happy creative freelancer, as well as overcoming your fears in order to take risks and build a career you truly love. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I enjoyed recording it, let's get into the show!
Thank you all for listening! You can find Chloe on instagram @chloecleroux, and follow us @manureva.studio. It's has been a huge pleasure creating this first series and you can find all the past episodes on Apple Podcast or Spotify at The Creative Minute. Don't hesitate to reach out and tell us what you think or who you would like to see on the podcast.
We always love to find new creative thinkers and people who aren't as represented in the media. We will be back in your ears with season two in a few weeks. Bye!
Today's episode is all about wellness with Tess Koenig. In an online world where it's hard to find influencers who genuinely value wellness and movement for their mental health without the side of toxic diet culture or trying to sell you a product, Tess is a precious gem who has a lot to say about building a healthy mindset and a strong body. Seeing her turn her career around from working a steady job in the food industry to focus fully on yoga and mindfulness and now on coaching was so inspiring and I'm glad I got to hear more about her path.
In this chat, we talk about both our personal paths to building a relationship with exercise, what last year has been like for her and the challenge of staying positive for her clients when everything felt so uncertain for her.
She's one of the most positive and radiant people I've interviewed, so I'm really excited for you to watch this. Tess has a lot of very exciting things coming up, so make sure you follow her @tessiemade.
Today, I talk to Meg Maupin, who describes herself as a Designer, Citizen Scientist, and CEO and founder of Atolla.
I met Meg when we started working on their packaging design and branding, and when I started this of interviews, I knew I had to get her on the show: she brings so much knowledge, passion and hard work into everything that she does, in addition to having a diversity of skills, talents and interests.
Although her career took her to many different places, she follows her belief that good design can deeply change and improve people’s lives. She has always had an interest for sustainability, whether that means making a positive impact on the environment or building a meaningful and fulfilling life and career on the long term.
We finished our chat by talking about her passion for rock-climbing and what she does to recharge, and how that impacts her work and management style.

Before she was a successful interior designer working from her home in Connecticut, Colleen Siddig grew up in Cape Cod, traveled the world, and lived in many places as far as Hong Kong or Paris where she started curating her unique style.
Her career began in journalism and she worked in TV production for a few years, but she soon decided to go back to school to pursue her passion for design and build the life she dreamed of, one that gave her more flexibility and control.
This conversation is full of tips and insight for founders and freelancers working on their own, having to deal with the logistical aspects of running a business as well as finding time to nurture their creativity. It was also incredibly inspiring to hear her talk about her decision to go back to school to transform her life and career during a recession and boldly follow her dreams.
Grab a cup of tea and get cosy to tune in for another incredibly motivating episode of The Creative Minute. Don't forget to follow her on @colleensiddigdesign and join us on @manureva.studio to get updates on new episodes!
Today, we're talking to @evagoicochea, founder and CEO of @getmaude, a modern sexual wellness brand that has been redefining the sex essentials industry since 2018.
Eva is one of 60 latinx women to have raised over $1M dollars in venture capital funding and, as of August 2020, she has raised over 4 millions in total.
I'm very grateful that I got to talk with Eva, who was joyful and funny, and very generous with her time in her busy schedule. She tells us more about what drives her, her passion for healthcare but also how design and her creative eye has played a huge part in her career and more specifically in the success of her brand, maude, so i can't wait for her to tell you more about that.
Back in November of 2020, she also announced that actress Dakota Johnson @dakotajohnson joined Maude as co-creative director and investor, working alongside Eva on the creative direction of the brand, incorporating even more sustainability and mission-driven initiatives.
You know what to do, listen here on IGTV, Apple Podcasts or Spotify. Link in bio!

Amy Shack Egan is a serial entrepreneur who uses creative momentum to grow her ideas. The founder and CEO of Modern Rebel and Rebel Virtual, she is also the co-founder of Bandit, a tech platform dedicated to providing access to relationship health resources. While Modern Rebel offers an alternative to the very traditional wedding industry since 2015, Rebel Virtual has produced 500+ virtual global conferences, non-profit fundraisers, social gatherings and more since its start in April 2020.
Needless to say that when we looked for a resourceful entrepreneur who made the most of a difficult year, Amy's name immediately came to our mind. Not just because she found the courage to launch two new companies in 2020, or because she is also a great business coach, but because she undeniably had something to teach us about how to harvest and follow great ideas.
Amy walks us through her experience of 2020, how she comes up with her ideas, and what she put in place to build an anti-racist workplace. She tells us how 2020 changed her, professionally and personally with a big change in her family.
You can find Amy on her many instagram accounts: @anthemofamy where she regularly goes on stories to talk about common struggles in entrepreneurship, @try.bandit and @modernrebelandco. www.facebook.com/modernrebelco www.trybandit.co www.modernrebelco.com www.rebelvirtual.com
