This episode is a personal one. I share about an experience I had that was traumatic and was also the beginning of a spiritual awakening.
This is my story about how I came to understand that ultimately I am not in control.
This is how I've learnt to let go of controlling myself and others in my life as well.
These realisations and experiences have brought me more peace than I ever could have imagined.

Rosie and I met a few years ago on an acting job and we've been following each other's journey's ever since. I was taken aback with what she shared about her creative journey and her time in the theatre, to her experiences and her relationship with finding her voice.

I found it so hard for so many years to find consistency...with anything. Let alone sitting every morning and closing my eyes only to hear how loud the voices were in my head! Yuck!

But throughout the years I have found rituals and practises to help put my ego to the side and allow my creativity to flow through.

Now I meditate every single day, walk in nature everyday and start the day feeling guided by something greater than the voices in my head.

In this episode you'll meet "Mia" my inner shadow voice. She's pretty harsh on me. She comes in to berate me whenever I put myself out there. I've found that by expressing these parts of myself creatively that they have less hold on me. I've found appreciation for Mia and all that she's done to protect me, but moving forward I don't have to let her rule. There is a way to bring in self kindness, but that kinda makes her wna vomit ;)

In this episode I share and introduce you to my fear voice -  "Gail".
The voice in my head that says..."I'll do it when I'm ready" and wants to veer me into procrastination with all the logical reasons why I shouldn't follow my dreams.

Getting to know my fear voice has been life changing.
It has given me more choice and clarity to determine when it's my inner voice guiding me vs my ego wanting me to stay small. I've found more courage since meeting this voice and take the steps and action in pursuing what I love. If you feel you get stuck in anxiety and have fear around pursuing what you're passionate about, have a listen and share with your friends.
