Yesterday roughly 26.7 million registered South African voters casted their ballots in the country's sixth democratic elections. A record-breaking 48 political parties contested these elections. Sudan is in the middle of a revolution. Protesters who deposed former President Omar al-Bashir, who ruled for 30 years, want a civilian-led government. According to Sudan's military council says it will not allow civilians a majority on the supreme council, set to rule the country during a transitional period.
