Two regional structures of the ANC in the North West, say the decision to disband the party's provincial executive committee was a pre-determined move by the national leadership. Both the Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati and Kenneth Kaunda regions believe the decision was influenced by factional tendencies. The party's national leadership disbanded the PEC last week after a special NEC meeting in Cape Town. Meanwhile, Job Mokgoro has been announced convenor of a Provincial Task Team (PTT), which will be set up and announced today.
