Rowena Baird started her broadcasting career in the mid 1980’s at Radio BOP. For the past few years she has been a part of the SAfm family. She has been living, for the past two years, with stage 4 colon cancer. After her diagnosis with colon cancer, she has become the unofficial ambassador for cancer, sharing her story with the listeners of SAfm, as well as her journey with cancer. This morning she joins us for an update on that journey

This morning some ANC branches in Mpumalanga will march to Luthuli House to register their dissatisfaction about a number of issues they are not happy about. These members are also calling for Ace Magashule to disband the PEC structure of Mpumalanga and they argue that this will help the organisation to restore its original values.
