  • Is the ANC indecisive and inconsistent when dealing with its members accused of corruption?
The ANC has been accused of being indecisive and inconsistent when dealing with its members who are alleged to be involved in corrupt activities, especially those deployed in government. Lately the concept of UNITY appears to be an instrument that has kept even those who have failed dismally in government unshaken. Others however argue that this perceived political expediency is necessary to get the ANC through - at least for now. Can the youth change all this. • How can Black Africans Assert themselves, in their different spaces of Work, of School, and where they live?
In July, The Black Imbizo was hosted, to address and redress the injustices black people endured for over 400 years. Vukulu joins us now, to share some insights that came out from that event, but also, to unpack how black Africans assert themselves in the different environments they find themselves in? How we speak to one other, even when both of us speak the same indigenous language, how we dress and wear our hair, are we too accommodative of a pre-determined status quo of what ‘civilised’ and ‘professional’ is? At the expense on our Africanness?
