EFF leader, Julius Malema, has launched a tirade against South Africans of Indian descent - claiming that many Indian people are racist. Malema was addressing a Youth Day event in Klerksdorp in the North West. The EFF leader argued strongly for black people to uplift themselves in the spirit of Black Consciousness. Malema then went on to defend EFF Chief Whip, Floyd Shivambu's recent verbal attack on Treasury Deputy DG, Ismael Momoniat. He said the EFF Chief Whip had been making a valid point about an "Indian" representing treasury in parliamentary meetings - when 80- percent of Treasury staff are black Africans.
