Guest: Judge Dennis Davis – Chair of the Davis Tax Committee
Guest: Dumisani Mpafa – Black Management Forum Deputy President
According to Dumisani Mpafa, as the BMF they support the wealth tax, and have been calling for it. For them, it would assist in finding out who exactly are the wealthy people in the country, and also implore those who have accumulated wealth to contribute to society. They also say that this money must then be segregated, so that it does not get diluted into the fund for our fiscus.
Guest: Dan Roodt - Director of PRAAG (the Pro-Afrikaans Action Group)
According to him, it has not worked in other countries, so we shouldn’t introduce it.
