The Daily Promise

Today's Promise: Hebrews 13:5

When you feel like the world has turned its back on you, there is one who has promised never to leave or forsake you.

Even if you have slipped away from the Lord, He has never forsaken you.

If you are lonely today, run to the One who has never and will never forget you. If you have been hurt by others, run to the God who has promised to always be with you. If God is calling you to a new ministry, remember that He will be with you.

Today's Promise: Psalm 103:12

For many Christians, Guilt is a way of life. When they pray, they feel overwhelmed by a sense of guilt and shame. Every time an opportunity for service arrives, they feel unworthy for God to use them.

Once we confess and repent of a sin, God never brings it up again. God moved our sin as far as the East is from the West. (Ps. 103:12)

God desires for you to live a guilt-free life by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Today's promise: Mark 9:23

Sometimes the limiting factor in our walk with God is our faith. As we learn to grow our faith by putting God's Word into our lives and standing on it, we will see God do incredible things in our lives.

Is your lack of faith holding back the work God wants to do in your life? Ask the Holy Spirit to increase your level of faith.

Worship has more to do with the attitude of the heart than the location.

So many Christians get caught up in the formality and tradition of worship. They think worship has to happen at a particular time or place. They believe you must worship in a certain way or only with a specific style of music.

True worshipers come to God in spirit and truth.

You can worship God in the grandest cathedral or a grass hut - you can be part of a large crowd or in your pajamas. What matters is the attitude of the heart.

Today's Promise: James 4:8

When we draw close to God, He draws close to us.

First, you must cleanse your hands. You must leave behind the sin that moved you away from Him in the first place.

Second, you must purify your heart. The birthplace of our actions is our heart. Our heart must be wholly His.

When you change your heart and change your actions, you have the promise that as you return to Christ, He will welcome you into His presence. Your father will draw near to you as you draw near to Him.

Today's Promise: 1 Peter 5:4

One day, Jesus will return. When He comes, He will set up His eternal kingdom here on Earth. There will be a new heaven and Earth, and God will dwell among His people.

God rewards in heaven those who served Him here on Earth.

Your crown of glory will never fade or lose its luster. Its shining glory will last for all eternity.

You may not see all the rewards you desire in this life, but you can be confident that your reward is waiting for you when Jesus returns.

Today's Promise: Psalm 37:39-40

In the heat of the battle, God provides a refuge and stronghold. Run to Him to find safety and protection.

Do you ever feel like the enemy has you in his sights? Ever feel like you walk around with a spiritual target on your back? When the enemy comes, you have one you can run to and find shelter, protection, and safety.

He promises to deliver you from the wicked and the wicked one.

Today, don't live in fear. Walk in faith, knowing God is your protection.

Have you ever really needed direction and wisdom from the Lord? Have you ever felt you could really use some clarity in the decision you are about to make? If so, today's promise is for you.

You don't have to live hoping to make the right choices and do the right things. God promises to teach, guide, and counsel you in how you should live.

Start today by seeking God's leadership. Stay close to Him, listen for His voice, and seek His face. You will be amazed at all God has to say to you.
