Today's Promise: Psalm 34:18

When life throws you a knockout punch, God is there to draw you near. When you feel crushed by the things you have experienced, God will save you from hopelessness.

Being brokenhearted is more than having your high school boyfriend break up with you. The brokenhearted are those who have suffered a hurt of such magnitude that it has left them debilitated.

If you are brokenhearted today, Jesus will minister peace and healing to your soul.

Today's Promise: Exodus 23:29-30

Right now, God is working in your life to give you victory. He doesn't give it to you all at once. He works little by little to transform you into the likeness of Jesus.

When God told the Children of Israel about the promised land, He promised to drive out their enemies. God would go before them, and He would fight their battles. However, He would do so little by little.

God works little by little in your life. He leads you one step at a time.

Today's Promise: Isaiah 30:21

God wants to lead you. Throughout the Bible, God promises to lead, direct, and guide those who put their faith and trust in Him.

The problem we face is that God rarely shows us the destination. Like our GSP, God usually gives just the next step.

To hear God's instruction, you have to listen for His voice.

By walking in fellowship with the Lord and listening to His voice, you can be confident that He will lead and direct your path.

Today's Promise: Matthew 7:11

Jesus described God as our Heavenly Father. When we pray, it's like talking to our daddy. Like a good earthly father, your Heavenly Father gives good gifts to His children.

In this promise, we look at four things God does for His children.

1. He likes to give good gifts to His children.

2. He doesn't always give you what you want.

3. He wants the best for His children.

4. He is always ready to help.

Today's Promise: 1 John 5:13

The greatest promise of all is knowing you have eternal life.

With all the advancements in technology and medicine, the mortality rate is still 100%. Every person will one day close their eyes for a final time and face eternity.

For the Christian, there is no "hoping" for heaven. If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation, you can know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you have eternal life.

As a Christian, you can know you have eternal life because God has promised it in His word.

Today's Promise: Psalm 86:7

What do you do when your day of trouble comes? No matter who you are, there will be days of trouble. Sometimes, you have caused them, and sometimes, trouble just seems to show up at your door.

The first way you can respond is with fear and worry. You let the "what if?" train run through your mind.

You can also respond to the day of trouble by complaining.

However, the third way you can respond is to call on the Lord. God will never leave you to face your day of trouble alone.

Today's Promise: Psalm 23:6

In this last verse of Psalm 23, David declares that God's goodness and mercy have always been with him.

As David looked back over his life, he saw that even though he had been unfaithful, God had always been faithful. God had poured His goodness and unfailing love on him throughout His life.

Just as David looked back on his life and saw the goodness of God, you will remember God's blessing to you over the years. As you do, you will find your faith strengthened and your hope renewed.

Today's Promise: Joshua 1:8

God's Word is filled with success principles. As you obey His Word, He will bless you and bring about your success.

God gave Joshua a three-step process for achieving success and prosperity.

1. Keep God's Word Close to Your Heart.

2. Meditate on God's Word.

3. Obey God's Word.

As you discover, meditate, and obey God's Word, the Holy Spirit is able to lead you through your day. The principles of God's Word will become part of your thinking and living.
