    # The Daily Trend Report with giovanni gallucci: September 12, 2026
Good morning. This is Alexis Parker, sitting in with giovanni gallucci and Chloe Dawn, and this is the Daily Trend Report. Morning, Alexis.
    ## In this episode
**Social Media.** So here's the one that stopped me this week. Newsweek just posted its best single day of social referral traffic in five years.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Okay, mine today is a confession dressed up as a marketing plan. Campbell's.
**Content Creation Tactics.** All right, my favorite one today, and it closes the show. Jim Beam ran a thing called Hit the Beam.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Take the one real opinion you hold about your category and post it on Threads as a sentence, not a graphic, then sit in the replies for an hour and answer every single one.
    - Ask a real question over there. Not what's your favorite flavor, an actual gripe about what's on the shelf or how the stuff gets made, and treat the answers as next week's content.
    - Whatever follow you earn on the ranked feed, point it at something you own, a broadcast channel, an email list, an inbox, because reach you rent was never yours to keep.
    - Take the two creators who already make good work about your category and turn a one-off into six months, before Big Food's checkbook lands in their inbox.
    - Put a real person who actually makes the thing on camera every week, the ugly batch included, because that's the one post a nine-hundred-person marketing org can't ship in under two weeks.
    - Answer your comments in that same person's voice, same day, no committee, because speed is the one thing all that budget can't buy back.
    - Find the thing in your world that happens on a schedule you don't control, and build one repeatable bit on it instead of a one-off.
    - Build the shoot into something you're already doing, so the market booth or the sampling table comes home with a week of footage, not just a receipt.
    - Make your object repeatable, not rare. A thing every buyer can post beats five things only an editor can carry.

Good morning. This is giovanni gallucci, joined by Chloe Dawn and Rachel Donovan, and this is the Daily Trend Report. Morning, giovanni.
    ## In this episode
**Social Media.** So Eddie flagged something this week that looks small and isn't. Life360, the location-sharing app, coined a word.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** So the food story today is a grocer doing something almost nobody does in September. Natural Grocers built its whole Organic Month around teaching, not discounting.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Alright, the content story today is a wine bottle, and it's the best example this week of making the customer your camera crew. Travis flagged it, and Kendall had the same bottle.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Pull one number out of the data only you have, a time, a day, a pattern in your own sales, and name the behavior behind it in plain words.
    - Build the short list of the newsletters and writers who cover your category, and send them that one number. Not a press release. The number.
    - Say the coined term in your own feed before anyone else does, so when it travels, every pickup has to point back at you.
    - If you carry the seal, put it in the first frame of everything you post this month and point it at whatever retailer program you're stocked in. The air cover expires the thirtieth.
    - If you don't carry it, publish your certification reality as a post. What you're certified for, what you're not, what the audit costs. Specific, not defensive.
    - Put the thing a logo can't fake in the content. The farm's name, the town, a real person who answers the phone. That's the proof that survives when a pretty picture stops counting as one.
    - Design one reveal into your packaging, a peel, a scratch, art under the cap, so opening the thing is already a shot worth taking.
    - Make the reveal genuinely worth recording, then ask for the clip and reshare the best ones as your feed.
    - Keep it physical and real. A true object in a real hand is the proof a synthetic feed can't counterfeit, and that's the edge.

Good morning. This is Alexis Parker, sitting in with giovanni gallucci and Chloe Dawn, and this is the Daily Trend Report. Morning, Alexis.
    ## In this episode
**Social Media.** So the one that stopped me this week came out of Modern Retail. Independent brands are running real product development out of the Instagram DM inbox.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Okay, mine this week. Non-alcoholic is finally getting its edge back and losing the wellness voice.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Alright, mine to close on. Eddie's tactics desk had a football ad this week I want to sit with, because it did something most brands do not understand they are allowed to do.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Put one named person on the inbox with a standing weekly slot, and log every recurring ask in one place instead of closing it out like a ticket.
    - Mail a prototype to your ten most active DMers, film the honest reaction, and post the change you made because of it.
    - When a customer's message actually moves the product, reply to her out loud on the grid, so the next wave sees that talking to you is worth their time.
    - Shoot your non-alcoholic line in a real occasion, the party or the show or the porch, and retire the pale wellness aesthetic completely.
    - Write the caption about the ritual and the ingredient, never the effect, so the personality carries it and the claim stays clean.
    - If you are regional, make the location the entire flex, and post the Friday night a national brand physically cannot fake.
    - Find the rivalry your audience already argues about and build one post around it, instead of chasing a trend everybody else is already piled into.
    - Cast for conflict, not for reach. Put two sides people genuinely care about in the same frame and let the comments carry it the rest of the way.
    - Before you join a format, count how many brands are already in it. If it is crowded, take the money somewhere you can own the argument outright.

Good morning. This is giovanni gallucci, joined by Chloe Dawn and Rachel Donovan, and this is the Daily Trend Report. Morning, giovanni.
    ## In this episode
**Social Media.** Kendall pulled a Sprout Social number this week that should bother every brand manager who spent three years polishing a company account. Forty percent of people say they find new products through employee content at least once a month.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Travis flagged a plant milk launch that did something I almost never see done on purpose. MALK put out a new whole milk alternative, twelve grams of protein, and every trade outlet that covered it led with what's not in the can.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Eddie's tactics desk had the one I keep thinking about. Dunkin ran a spot Tuesday where the Spice Girls reunite and reveal a sixth member nobody knew about.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Pick two or three people who already like being on camera and give them a standing weekly slot, not a one-time ask.
    - Put real terms behind it. Pay them or let them film on the clock, and tell them plainly what you'll use and for how long.
    - Kill the script. Hand them the topic and let them talk, because the unrehearsed aside is the part that travels.
    - Take the shortest true thing about your product and put it where people look, on the front and in the first line of the caption, not buried on the back.
    - Film the honesty tax. Show why the thing you left out makes the product harder to make, because the hard part is the proof.
    - Never name the other guy. Hold up your own panel and let the customer run the comparison, because the one they run themselves is the one they believe.
    - Land the joke and the offer on the same day. If your funny post and your reason to buy are three weeks apart, neither one works.
    - Pay off a bit your audience already shares instead of teaching a new one, because the joke they already know lands in a day.
    - Copy the structure, not the cast. You don't need a celebrity, you need a shared laugh and a small reason to act on it now.

Good morning. This is Alexis Parker, sitting in with giovanni gallucci and Chloe Dawn, and this is the Daily Trend Report. Morning, Alexis.
    ## In this episode
**Social Media.** So the story that stopped me this week. Travis went digging and pulled LinkedIn's own numbers on where the AI answers come from.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Okay, mine is a candy story, and for once it put me in a good mood. Funday, Australian brand, no-added-sugar sweets, walks into almost thirteen hundred Target stores on the thirteenth.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Alright, this is the part I care most about. Two real campaigns out of the last week.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Pick the one person on your team who knows the product best, and start publishing under their profile instead of the brand page.
    - Write one long, original post this month in place of four quick reshares. The original is what gets quoted. The reshare gets skipped.
    - Put a real, first-person answer on that person's profile to the question customers always ask you. That is the exact line the machine reads back to the next person who goes looking.
    - If you have a fixed on-shelf date, run it as a countdown series, not a single launch-day post. That date is free content most brands throw straight in the bin.
    - Ask your customers to find the product in the wild and tag you. A stranger's ten seconds from the aisle outsells anything you shoot in a studio.
    - If your product has an honest quirk, name it yourself first, in your own voice. Get out ahead of the review section instead of letting it write the story for you.
    - Put something worth filming where your customers already gather with their phones out. Rent the crowd. Do not buy the attention.
    - Stop running one cut on every platform. Build the six-second piece as its own thing, not a trimmed-down version of the long one.
    - Before anything goes up, ask one question. Is this built for the surface it is about to land on? If it is not, rebuild it for that surface or move it somewhere else.

Good morning. This is giovanni gallucci, joined by Chloe Dawn and Rachel Donovan, and this is the Daily Trend Report. Morning, giovanni.
    ## In this episode
**Social Media.** So Reddit did the thing this week, giovanni, and Eddie flagged it right off. They took Max, their AI campaign tool, out of limited test and opened it to every advertiser.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Mine is a little tonic company out of Hayden, Idaho, and Travis pulled it. Tractor Beverage.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Last one, and Eddie had it on the tactics desk. The best piece of content Hoka made this week is one Hoka did not actually make.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Find the two or three subreddits where people already fight about your category, and just answer questions there for six months. No links, no pitch. That is an asset no ad tool can price you out of.
    - Go where the ingredient questions already live. The thread asking whether you are actually clean is the highest-intent free room on the internet, so show up in it as a human being and not a brand logo.
    - Never let your first move in a community be a paid one. Arrive after the ad money and you start the whole relationship underwater.
    - Pick the single certification that involves an actual lab testing the product that ships, then build a short explainer that teaches people what it measures. Teaching the category is the one thing a competitor cannot buy their way into.
    - Run a standing post where you break down one label claim a week, yours and everybody else's, so your audience learns to spot a real certification from a bought logo. The brand that teaches the category ends up owning it.
    - Put a real name and a date on the explainer. It lands because a person is standing behind it out loud, not because a badge is sitting quietly in the corner of a photo.
    - Find the one number your customers already generate, a streak, a total, a count, and put it on a board they can watch move. A scoreboard is content that makes itself.
    - Give the number a rivalry. Two towns, five boroughs, the regulars against the new folks. People check a leaderboard they are on and scroll right past one they are not.
    - You do not need a fitness app or a billboard. A weekly tally in a story, a pinned post that updates, a whiteboard you photograph on Fridays. The mechanic is the standings, not the budget.

    ## In this episode
**Social Media.** So this one is rare, giovanni. Eddie flagged it.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Mine is a shelf that is about to empty out, and Travis had it. There is a federal deadline, November twelfth, that narrows the definition of hemp and effectively pulls most of the psychoactive hemp drinks off the market.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Last one, and Eddie had it on the tactics desk. It was a thin holiday week for real published work, but one thing stood out, and it is a football ad.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Run one week where every post is built to be answered instead of agreed with. A real question about your category, a take you expect pushback on, a work in progress you want somebody to tear apart.
    - Put the hook in the post and the link in the first reply. A post that ships people off the platform gets buried, so keep them on the thread and let the link wait a beat.
    - Stop reporting likes to your boss. Report profile visits, saves, and your branded search volume, because those are the signals the platform counts and the ones that actually turn into a customer.
    - Make a list of the ten people who already have credibility in this space, the kava bar folks, the herbalist creators, the zero proof bartenders, and start showing up in their comments now, months ahead of the shelf change.
    - Build a small standing roster of those voices and let them explain the plant in their own words, not your marketing copy. A new ingredient a trusted stranger vouches for beats a label a confused stranger has to decode.
    - Lead your own posts with where it grows and who grows it, never with what it does to you. Sourcing and a name travel. An effect claim just dares somebody to fact-check you.
    - Before you make ten reaction posts for a weekend, make one piece you can re-cut and re-post for three months. Build for the season, not the Saturday.
    - Pick a format you can come back to. Same characters, same frame, a story that pays off slowly, so every re-share compounds instead of starting from zero.
    - If you do chase a live moment, put a real point under it. A fast post that only repeats the joke everybody is already making hands the moment more fuel and buries you in your own replies.

Good morning. This is giovanni gallucci, joined by Chloe Dawn and Rachel Donovan, and this is the Daily Trend Report. Morning, giovanni.
    ## In this episode
**Social Media.** So the thing that made me put my coffee down this morning, Eddie had it right at the top, is that on September third TikTok opened up the comment section. Comments now take sixty second voice notes, photo carousels up to nine images, and polls.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Mine is a party running out of fizz. Kendall pulled the numbers.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Last one, and it is my favorite of the week. Eddie had it on the tactics desk.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Moderation. Voice and pictures in your comments are a lot harder to police than text. Somebody can park nine images under your video and you will not catch it for an hour. Decide who is watching before you build on it.
    - Build a list of ten adjacent creator accounts in your category, not competitors, turn on notifications, and answer real questions with teaching carousels under their videos.
    - Record founder voice notes for the replies that deserve a human. Under thirty seconds, unscripted, no polish.
    - Say the actual number out loud on camera, the fiber gram, the dose, because a claim somebody can check is a claim that travels.
    - Film the mechanism as a receipts piece, the test, the amount, what it does and what it does not, and let the honesty be the whole differentiator.
    - When a giant lands in your category, post the dated timeline that shows you were there first. No shot fired, just the paperwork.
    - Build one physical object worth photographing, a thing people actually want, so your customers become the ones posting you.
    - Give the object a second job in real life, something to wear, carry, or hang, because a thing people use is a thing they keep posting.
    - Steal the Adweek move on a budget. Run a weekly roundup that names real customers, and let the people you named do your distribution.

Good morning. This is Alexis Parker, sitting in with giovanni gallucci and Chloe Dawn, and this is the Daily Trend Report. I found an old show flyer in a box this morning.
    ## In this episode
**Social Media.** So the thing that stopped me this morning, Travis flagged it, is that Google is teaching its assistant to actually watch a video. Not read the title.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Okay, mine is a number, and it's the kind that should make a small brand nervous, not proud. Clean label just came back as the number one research priority for American food manufacturers.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Last one, and it's my favorite of the week. Eddie had it on the tactics desk.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Say the product name, the use, and the biggest objection out loud on camera, because the machine reads what you say now, not just what you type.
    - Take your best line out of the description and put it in the first fifteen seconds, where a person and a model both hear it.
    - Go back through your last ten videos and add one spoken sentence that answers the exact thing people type. The old ones get read too now.
    - Start a weekly standing post that's just the batch getting made. Same slot every week, rough footage, no polish, because polish is starting to read as maybe-not-real.
    - Film the run you threw out and say why you threw it out. Nobody at a big company will ever post the reject pile, and that's exactly why yours travels.
    - Answer one real customer question on camera every week. Same day, your voice, your hands. A national brand can't do that, and the people watching know it.
    - Pick the one thing your audience would genuinely respect you for doing well, and do it live, where you could visibly come up short.
    - Kill the script that saves you. The whole value is that the outcome isn't decided before you hit record.
    - If you're borrowing a stunt, make sure there's a real point under it, because shock with nothing to defend just has you apologizing by Friday.

    ## In this episode
**Social Media.** Travis flagged this one and it stopped me cold. The creator economy is repricing itself in real time.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Okay, mine is a coffee company that walked into the energy fight without a single word of the usual energy drink poetry. Death Wish Coffee launched something called Power Surge this week.
**Content Creation Tactics.** This last one ties the whole morning together, and it is the most copyable thing I saw all week. Quince ran its first ever sample sale in San Francisco.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Pull a creator over thirty-five in your real category and hand them one true story a week, the kind with a specific number in it, told to camera in their own voice with no script polish.
    - Stop briefing lines any face could read. Write to the one person on camera and the details only they could honestly say, because that unfakeable specificity is exactly what the feed rewards now.
    - Shift a quarter of your creator budget off the twenty-two year olds and lock six month terms while the rates are still soft, so you own the relationship before the prices climb back.
    - Find the single most specific true claim on your product, the bean, the milligram, the exact count, and make that line the whole post instead of burying it under a wellness adjective.
    - Turn that number into a dare. Ask a creator to test it on camera, out loud, and post the honest result, because a claim someone can check is a claim that travels.
    - When the instinct hits to soften the specific back into safe vibe language, do not. The number is your stance, and a stance is the thing people repeat for you.
    - Take whatever inventory you already own, samples, overstock, seconds, and turn it into one small real world moment. Tell a finite number of people, let the scarcity be honest, and treat the social content as the byproduct.
    - Build the thing so your fans are the camera. Give them something worth standing in line for and a reason to film it, because a real crowd is footage no budget can fake.
    - Stop staging the moment and go find the real one already happening around you, a line, a regular, a superfan, and put your camera on that instead, because the honest version is the one that travels.

About The Daily Trends Report

From the publisher's feed

The Daily Trend Report. Every weekday morning, giovanni gallucci and a rotating cohost (Chloe Dawn on clean label food and beverage, plus Rachel Donovan or Alexis Parker on social media) synthesize the day's cross-LLM trend reports into three operator stories: social media, clean label food and beverage, and content, social, and AI. Tight, specific, no filler. For owners, founders, marketing leads, and operators in clean-label CPG.
