    # The Daily Trend Report with giovanni gallucci: September 2, 2026
Good morning. This is Alexis Parker, sitting in with giovanni gallucci and Chloe Dawn, and this is the Daily Trend Report. I walked Ruby before sunup and the whole town smelled like rain that never showed.
    ## In this episode
**Social Media.** Travis put a number on something every operator with a front door has been feeling in their gut. Google Business Profiles are still ranking fine.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Chobani just ran the opposite of every food story we've read this year. All year it's been a big strategic buying a piece of some scrappy brand.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Stella Artois did the smartest thing I saw all week, and the beauty of it is any brand can copy the logic. They tied themselves to the new Netflix show, The Gentlemen.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Add direction requests to your local report and weight them the same as calls, so a flat month reads as flat instead of reading like a collapse.
    - Work the profile like a feed. A fresh photo every week, every hours and product field filled in, the whole menu marked up.
    - Answer every review in your own voice, and keep one link running to an email list, because a room you don't own can change the rules on you overnight.
    - Give your supply chain its own show. Name it, pick a standing slot, decide the run length before episode one.
    - Put the real specifics in every single episode. The dairy, the town, the miles, the poundage, the same details every time until people start to expect them.
    - Cut each one twice. A long version for YouTube, a thirty-second cold open for Reels and TikTok. One shoot, three feeds.
    - Before you sign any tie-in, find the one thing in it you already own, a ritual, a sound, a recurring character, and build the whole edit on that.
    - Skip the raid on somebody else's comments. Point that same energy at your own feed. Give people a specific thing to say and a reason to say it where you can actually moderate it.
    - Hand fans the product inside a video they were already going to make, a get-ready, a haul, a morning routine, and let the thing in their hand do the work.

    ## In this episode
**Social Media.** Instagram changed one word on August 31 and put teeth behind it. The AI creator label is now AI-generated profile, and if your account is built around a person who does not actually exist and you skip the label, you stop getting recommended in Reels and Explore.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** The words zero sugar are turning into a courtroom exhibit. Liquid Death and the maker of David protein bars both drew class actions filed August 24 in California over zero-gram-sugar claims on products sweetened with allulose.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Chipotle did the thing this week that ties the whole morning together. On August 31 they put a hundred creators behind the line in more than fifty restaurants, morning prep, shooting the new menu.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Open your last thirty posts and sort every AI-touched asset into explains-the-product or pretends-a-person-exists. Keep the first, cut the second.
    - Do not slap a disclaimer on AI-assisted editing. The rule never asked for it, and the audience reads a disclaimer as an admission.
    - Shoot a real person on camera doing the real work this week, while the recommendation shelf is still clearing out for it.
    - Film a plain sixty-second read of what a sugar claim legally means, using your own label, no health claim and no naming the brands in court.
    - Answer the question your buyers are already typing. Pin a post explaining why a court called allulose a sugar, and reply to the comments on camera.
    - If your caffeine number is honest, put the milligram count in your captions now and make the disclosure a trust asset before it is a rule.
    - Cede the shot list. Hand a phone to the people who actually make your product and use their footage, not a frame you art-directed.
    - Cast one person from outside your category, someone whose audience has no opinion about you yet, and let them show the work.
    - Give your participants a trophy. A pinned wall, a name on the page, a permanent mark for showing up, because the reward is what brings the next person in.

    # The Daily Trend Report with giovanni gallucci: August 31, 2026
Good morning. This is Alexis Parker, sitting in with giovanni gallucci and Chloe Dawn, and this is the Daily Trend Report. Morning, Alexis.
    ## In this episode
**Social Media.** So the story I cannot stop turning over came off Travis's desk, and it changes what your captions are even for. Back in July, Google added your social accounts to Search Console.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Two headlines landed in the same news cycle and they only make sense read together. On August tenth the FDA proposed making one small thing mandatory.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Last one, and this is the one you can steal from by tomorrow. Two brands, same week, both borrowed somebody else's world.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Connect your accounts in Search Console this week and pull the query report. You will find phrases you are already ranking for that you never once tried to target, and that list is your next month of captions written for you.
    - Rewrite your opening line as the answer to a question somebody types, not a tease. The first line does the ranking, so put the real thing there and save the payoff for the middle of the video.
    - Stop deleting old posts. A post that answers a question keeps pulling strangers in for a year. Reach is gone by the weekend either way.
    - Say your own ingredient standard out loud this week, in plain language. One ingredient, one honest reason it is in there, posted where a customer will actually see it.
    - If you were clean before your state made it law, say that out loud and name the place. You beat the rule, so let your neighbors hear it from you.
    - Answer the word, not the coalition. Every time somebody in your comments asks what transparency even means, you get to define it on camera, in your own voice. Pin the best one.
    - When you borrow somebody's world, spend a day rebuilding it from the inside before you shoot a frame. If you cannot name the three things fans love about it, you have not earned the right to use it yet.
    - Put a real end date on the drop instead of a price cut. Six days beats ten percent off, and it costs you nothing but nerve.
    - Before anything co-branded goes live, read it to one person who was nowhere near the room. Their first reaction is your comment section, forty-eight hours early and free.

    # The Daily Trend Report with giovanni gallucci: August 30, 2026
Good morning. This is giovanni gallucci, joined by Chloe Dawn and Rachel Donovan, and this is the Daily Trend Report. Morning, giovanni.
    ## In this episode
**Social Media.** The biggest thing on my desk this morning is one most people are already misreading. On Thursday, YouTube added Amazon to its US Shopping affiliate program.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Mine this morning is the most honest thing anybody wrote about clean label all month, and it ran in a trade journal nobody outside the industry reads. Beverage Industry published a piece this week on masking systems in functional drinks.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Last one, and this is where I want to spend real time, because two brands this week did the same smart thing and almost nobody named it out loud. Eddie's tactics desk had both.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Open your Amazon listing tonight and read it like a stranger deciding in eight seconds whether you are worth a tag. The title, the hero image, the review count, the price. That page is your ad now, so treat it like one.
    - Write down the five creators who already mention you without being paid, and get product into their hands this week, before the auto-tagger picks a competitor for them.
    - Put a reason to open a full video in front of those creators. A farm they can film, a process nobody else runs, a founder who will say something unguarded on camera. The tag they can automate. The story they cannot.
    - Put the milligram dose on the front of the can and say the number out loud in the caption. The number is the post.
    - Film a fifteen-second taste test where you admit the honest version tastes strong and explain why it is worth it. Almost nobody in functional beverage shoots that, which is exactly why it travels.
    - Post your ingredient panel next to the category average and let the short list make the case. Receipts on the screen, no accusation needed.
    - Before your next drop, write down the exact video you want a stranger to make, then design the release so that video is the path of least resistance.
    - If you can drop more than one thing, drop them together. Three or four at once turns a review into a ranking, and rankings get duetted.
    - Change one physical thing that creates a repeatable action on camera. A thicker chip, a color reveal, a fold. The action becomes the format, and the format is free reach.

Good morning. This is Alexis Parker, sitting in with giovanni gallucci and Chloe Dawn, and this is the Daily Trend Report. Morning, Alexis.
    ## In this episode
**Social Media.** So Eddie and Travis both put this one in front of me, and it sounds like plumbing until you see what it changes. Search Engine Journal caught the big answer engine doing something very specific.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Alright, my desk, and this one has a lump in its throat. Stone Brewing.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Last stretch, and Eddie put a stack of real collaborations on the table this week. Line them up next to each other and they tell one clean story about who you should actually partner with.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Find the two or three subreddits where people argue about your category, and just read for a week, so you learn how they talk before you post a single word.
    - When you do show up, answer one real question honestly under your own name, founder to stranger, and let that one comment do the work a hundred promoted posts will not.
    - Search your own brand inside those communities, and if the top thread is five years old and wrong, go correct it kindly today, because the machine is still citing it.
    - Start a standing weekly post shot on your real production floor, same people, same room, until the place is something a customer recognizes on sight.
    - Put your town in your handle, your bio, and your packaging shots, and treat the specific location as a feature you never stop mentioning, because it is the one claim nobody can relabel.
    - Introduce your crew by name on camera this month, one short profile each, so people get loyal to faces and not just to a logo.
    - Before you chase any partner, write down who their audience actually is, and if it is not a dead ringer for your buyer, walk away no matter how big the name.
    - Pick a collaborator with real built-in affection, a character or a creator people already feel something for, so the partnership earns attention instead of buying it.
    - Run it as an actual piece of content with its own idea, not a logo swap, and give the collaborator something only they could do on camera.

**Social Media.** So Travis put this one on my desk and I have not been able to shake it. Snapchat just published data on the one thing none of us can measure.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Okay, my desk. And Kendall and Eddie both flagged the same story from different angles, so it earned the slot.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Last stretch, and this is the one Eddie dropped on the tactics desk that I keep turning over. A little distillery in Fort Worth called La Pulga.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Once a month, build a post for an audience of one. Not the crowd. One friend telling another friend. If it does not finish the sentence you have to see this, it is not the one.
    - Change the number you report. Pull sends and saves to the top of the deck and push likes to the bottom, so the team starts making the thing that gets forwarded.
    - Go read your own DMs and your close-friends replies for a week. The language people use when they share you privately is the exact hook you should be leading your next posts with.
    - Build a named inner circle from your twenty most loyal customers this month. First access to every batch, a real line to you, and a standing invitation to tell you the truth on the record.
    - When a review catches something, reply on camera, not in a support macro. Thank the person by name and show the fix. The correction is the most trustworthy post you will publish.
    - Turn your best reviews into a running segment. Read the real ones out loud, the picky ones included, and let the people who keep you honest become the face of why you are worth trusting.
    - Turn last year's sold-out thing into this year's product. Bundle the editions people missed, number them, and let scarcity you already earned do the selling twice.
    - Pick a number you can actually make. A hundred real units that ship beats a thousand you promise, because every numbered piece is a customer who will post the proof for you.
    - Do not out-scale a giant, out-specific it. Go all the way in on one town, one team, one community you actually belong to, and make the thing only a local could make.

Good morning. This is Alexis Parker, sitting in with giovanni gallucci and Chloe Dawn, and this is the Daily Trend Report. Morning, Alexis.
    ## In this episode
**Social Media.** So Instagram shipped a thing on Monday called First Draft, and Travis and Kendall both put it at the top of their pile. You hand it a stack of raw clips, it finds the dead air in your talking head, trims it, and hands you back a cut Reel in under ten seconds.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Gallup came out with the drinking numbers, and they are the story. Fifty-four percent of Americans say they drink.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Alright, this is the one I have been waiting on. Travis put four real campaigns from the last week on the table, and lined up next to each other they tell one clean story about what actually works.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Turn First Draft on this week, let it trim the dead air, then manually put one beat back in every video so your feed does not dissolve into the same default cut everybody else is running.
    - Take the time it saves you and spend it on access instead of output. Book the one person or the one room your competitor cannot get into, because that is the part no model can generate for them.
    - Audit your last twenty Reels. Anything that only worked because the pacing was tight is a commodity now. Anything that worked because of who was on camera is worth more this week than it was last week, so go make more of that.
    - Pick a stance about the evening occasion and post it as a flat statement somebody could disagree with, because a claim nobody argues with is a claim nobody remembers.
    - Retire the phrase non-alcoholic from your captions for a month and shoot the ritual instead, the pour and the glass and the wind-down, so the feeling does the selling.
    - When somebody comments that it cannot replace the real thing, do not argue. Make a short reply video that agrees it is not trying to, restate your stance, and pin it, because your best answer is the one everyone else scrolling the comments gets to see.
    - Cast for a relationship that already exists. Before you pay a creator, go find where they have already mentioned you on their own, unpaid, because that is the only premise an audience will believe.
    - If your joke needs a footnote to land, kill it. Anything that only reads as funny when the viewer already knows the reference is a risk with no upside, so cut it before your CEO has to.
    - When a customer roasts you and it is fair, never punch down. Answer with a wink or answer with a fix, put your own face on it, and let the comment section watch you take it well, because that clip does more for you than any apology ever will.

**Social Media.** So Kendall put this on my desk and I could not leave it alone. X is killing Creator Revenue Sharing.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Okay, my desk, and Eddie and Travis both flagged the same thing from different angles. Yerba mate just became the category everybody is chasing.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Last stretch, and this is the one Travis dropped on the tactics desk that I keep turning over. Pizza Hut dropped the word pizza.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Build one recurring original segment. Give it a name, give it a fixed slot, run it every week, so the people who liked it last time watch past the halfway mark this time. That dwell is what pays now.
    - Kill the screenshot-and-caption habit today. It earns you nothing after the eighth. Take that same hour and shoot one thing only your company could have filmed.
    - Pull your best reply-bait post from last month, the one that popped, and rebuild it as a standalone piece in your own voice and your own video. Same idea, now it is actually yours, now it counts.
    - Lead every caption with the plant and the place, not the number. The source is what people are shopping for, so put it in the first line where they can see it.
    - Make a short explainer series about your source. What mate even is, why it is naturally bitter, how you fixed the taste. Teach the category and you become the brand that owns it.
    - Put the ritual on camera. The pour, the first sip, the people passing it around. The energy blend cannot film a moment like that because it does not have one.
    - If you run a name or profile stunt, match the window to the exact moment it points at. If it references a season, it runs the season. Otherwise leave it in the drawer.
    - Put the catch in the announcement yourself. If the prize has a cap, say the number first, in your own post, so nobody gets to find it and make that the story.
    - When you borrow a creator, borrow one who already talks about you for free, and let them be funny instead of reading your copy. The audience can tell the difference between an order and a contract.

**Social Media.** So Kendall flagged this one and I could not put it down. Pew went and counted the web.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Okay, my desk. Eddie ran the numbers on the gummy aisle and it's a bloodbath.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Last stretch, and this is the one Travis dropped on the tactics desk that I keep chewing on. It's rush week on the campuses, RushTok, and the brands are all over it.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Put one specific, checkable, first-hand detail in every post this week. The batch that came out wrong, the delivery that ran late. That detail is the proof a person was there, and the machine can't fetch it.
    - Shoot it first person and on camera. The founder's face, the real hands, the actual room. Named and dated beats polished and anonymous now that the polished stuff is getting turned down.
    - Audit your last thirty posts for machine fingerprints, not for quality. If one could run under a competitor's logo with the name swapped, it was never yours. Rewrite it in your own voice.
    - Stop making one hero post for everybody. Make five small ones, each aimed at a specific person you actually sell to. The brand that just won this category shipped over a thousand.
    - Write down six real customers by name and situation, then make a piece for each. Narrow beats broad on a shoestring, because a person who sees themselves is the one who shares you.
    - Don't let your whole identity be a format somebody can copy in ninety days. Put the moat in a place, a person, or a story on camera that a bigger budget can't buy.
    - Find the gathering your people already film at. The fair, the roast, the Saturday market. Fund a table and free product there, not a post about it.
    - Build one mechanic that turns a bystander into your camera operator. A small unlock they get for mentioning you inside the video they were already making.
    - When the footage rolls, let it belong to them. Repost the real attendees instead of polishing your own booth clip. The unpolished one from somebody who was there outruns yours.

**Social Media.** So X quietly shipped something Friday that's a bigger deal than anybody's given it credit for yet. An Ads MCP server.
**Clean Label Food and Beverage.** Okay, my desk, and this one sent me digging through my own pantry. UC Davis went back and tested chips, mayo, and dressings, anything on a shelf claiming a hundred percent pure avocado oil.
**Content Creation Tactics.** Last stretch, and this is the one Travis put on my desk that I haven't stopped thinking about. There's a toy brand called Sticki Rolls you've probably never heard of unless you've got a kid in the house.
    ## Quick takeaways
    - Connect one platform's MCP this month. Ask it the question you've been paying an agency to answer, and grade the answer honestly.
    - Cancel the report, not the relationship. If your agency's only deliverable is the analytics deck, that deck's free now. Ask what else they're actually doing for you.
    - Take the hour the report used to eat and spend it shooting one more piece of actual content. That's the one thing the machine still can't do for you.
    - If you sell anything with an oil claim on the front, publish the actual lab certificate on your product page this week, with the lab's name attached, not a vague seal.
    - Say what standard you test against, out loud, by name. Right now almost nobody in this category does, and that gap is wide open.
    - Film yourself holding the actual certificate up to the camera for thirty seconds. That does more than a paragraph about your values ever will.
    - Look at your back catalog. If you've got ten short clips about one product, string them into one real long-form piece this month. A world beats a demo.
    - Give two people, not one, the keys to your long-form channel. A duo banters, a solo just narrates, and banter is what makes people binge.
    - The second something online gets real traction, plan the in-person version. A pop-up, a tasting, a meetup. The views are the invitation, not the finish line.

About The Daily Trends Report

From the publisher's feed

The Daily Trend Report. Every weekday morning, giovanni gallucci and a rotating cohost (Chloe Dawn on clean label food and beverage, plus Rachel Donovan or Alexis Parker on social media) synthesize the day's cross-LLM trend reports into three operator stories: social media, clean label food and beverage, and content, social, and AI. Tight, specific, no filler. For owners, founders, marketing leads, and operators in clean-label CPG.
