Annette Conrad is the proof of what is possible when you follow the little nudge inside of you that is telling you to go all in on the things that light you up. After creating a small little side hobby of creating cookies for different departments at the university she worked at, Annette jumped all in on her cookie business, Edible Impressions and has now worked with huge companies like Google, Amazon, and Pinterest, just to name a few.

Billy Flanigan has worked for Disney for over 40 years as an incredible performer. But he earned the title Happiest Man Alive during the Covid shutdown, a time when many of us were probably not at our happiest.

Being away from performing while things were shut down, Billy began biking as a way to stay fit and turned his rides into a way to bring smiles to the people he knew. By visiting them with a singing telegram, or Flanigram.

One thing I really loved from this episode is the idea of stepping into a scientist state of mind. So often when we go to start something new, we play out all the things that could go wrong and sometimes freeze up there and keep ourselves stuck! Or if we do fail, we wallow in that failure instead of using it as data. 

Becoming the scientist, as my guest Juliana says, helps you shift your perspective, step into action, use mistakes and your wins as data, and continue to move forward on your goals.
