The Dark Ride

This week on an all new episode of ‘The Dark Ride’ we begin a new “Minnie” tournament and drink all four Walt Disney World park icons to determine which one is the most iconic! We start at the start and so we’re drinking Cinderella Castle first! And we have a special guest join us, Amy Rogers who has single handedly taken an engagement ring photo in front of each park icon weighs in on which one became her most favorite photo! So does Cinderella Castle have what it takes to take down Spaceship Earth, the Tree of Life, and the Tower of terror? There’s only one way to find out!

This week on an all new episode of ‘The Dark Ride’ dad jokes and animal puns run amok as we board the world famous Jungle Cruise! This is a love it or hate it type of ride and the gloves sure come off in this one. I’m fact, some might say that when it comes to this ride, Adriane is one tough cookie! I know, I know…it’s a ‘crumby’ joke, but I milk it for all I can! Haha well if you enjoyed this bio, our names are Adriane and Ryan and this is The Dark Ride. If you didn’t, then my name is Pete Werner and this is the DIS Unplugged ;)

This week on a very special episode of ‘The Dark Ride’ we discuss one the shortest, but no less great, of the Epcot festivals - The Epcot International Festival of the Arts! This year they are calling it a “taste” but apart from a few missing (but not really missed) offerings it still packs a major punch! Halfway through the episode we go live from Epcot to the festival and try some eats and drinks and rate them right on the spot! We also talk about what Disney World is like right now during a pand-y, and if we think you should go or not. So, does this episode pack a majorly delicious punch? There’s only one way to find out!

This week on an all new episode of ‘The Dark Ride’ we take a space shot ride over to Universal Orlando to “Marvel” at Doctor Doom’s Fearfall! This is an exciting episode because our Fantastic Two podcast hosts are joined by a third - that’s right, Ryan’s mom drops in to make a solid case for her love of this attraction and why you should too! So will Universal’s answer to Tower of Terror sling shot ahead of the competition or will stay on the ground in a never-ending countdown? There’s only one way to find out!

This week on an all new episode of ‘The Dark Ride’ we put our black Ray-Bans on and head over to Universal Orlando to drink a classic attraction; Men in Black: Alien Attack! This interactive shooting dark ride is one of our favorites but does it have what it takes to take down the worst scum of the theme park universe? There’s only one way to find out!

This week on an all new episode of ‘The Dark Ride’ we’re going back in time to the days when 3D (or in this case 4D) shows really meant something! Yes that’s right, we’ll be drinking ‘Honey I Shrunk the Audience’ a show of Epcot’s yester-year. This is our first time drinking a defunct attraction and boy did we have fun taking a stroll down memory lane. So, will ‘Honey I Shrunk the Audience’ blow up the competition, or will it shrink all the way down to the bottom of the pack? There’s only one way to find out!

This week on an all new episode of ‘The Dark Ride’ we dive head first into the big blue world to drink ‘The Seas With Nemo and Friends’ yum, tastes salty! This omnimover attraction has got it all; clamobile’s, animatronics, projection screens, catchy songs, and one massive live fish tank! But does it have the fins to take down the rest of the competition? There’s only one way to find out!

This week on an all new episode of ‘The Dark Ride’ we get very wet while drinking the often forgotten - Kali River Rapids! These humongous car tires with seats, located in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, will bump and bounce you through a wet maze of shrubbery whilst simulating an actual river rapids excursion. But, is this particular river rapids worth spending the rest of your park day soaking wet? There’s only one way to find out!

This week on an all new episode of ‘The Dark Ride’ we drink way up high on a magic carpet ride because it’s - Magic Carpets of Aladdin week! Did you know it’s the first new ride in Adventureland since 1973? That’s right, the imagineers followed up Pirates of the Caribbean with this camel-spitting beauty! Oh and it’s an aerial carousel, one of our favorite phrases on the pod! So will this particular aerial carousel fly higher then all the other aerial carousels? There’s only one way to find out!

We can’t believe it’s already the 10th...9th...8th...7th...6th? No, the 5th and final week of our Pod-Mas celebration! We’re ringing in the New Year with a really fun episode where each of us describes what our perfect New Year’s Eve in Walt Disney World would be like and then rate each other’s choices! Because what would the holiday season be without judgement? So who will come up with the very best Disney World NYE plans? There’s only one way to find out!
