Ten years ago, someone broke into Russell and Shirley Dermond's peaceful home on the shores of Lake Oconee near Atlanta, Georgia and not only murdered the elderly couple, but did it in the most brutal manner. For years, the FBI and Georgia police have investigated but have had no luck in finding the killer. Just months ago, an announcement was made and we now know that DNA testing is underway. Hopefully this will bring some answers to this grieving family who lost their parents and grandparents on a beautiful spring day in 2014.
