In this week's episode, we watched probably (?) the shortest Disney Channel Original Movie to date, Tangled: Before Ever After! Clocking in at a neat 58 minutes, Tangled: Before Ever After brings new life to the original underappreciated classic.  The voices we know and love are back! Certified hotties Mandy Moore and Zach Levi(!) We are introduced to some voices we now freaking love (Eden Espinosa <3). And we are forced to grapple with none of the budget of the original.

This episode is almost as long as the movie, and maybe that's a sign? We don't know. But what we do know is unanswered questions abound in this week's episode as we discuss Tangled: Before Ever After!

It's here. The one we've all been waiting for!

This week we watched the first ever DCOM MUSICAL (and possibly the best one to date?) The Cheetah Girls!

This piece of Disney Channel feminist history exudes growl power and came to us in 2003 by way of Deborah Gregory (author extraordinaire!!!), Alison Taylor (screenplay writer and fellow woman), and Oz Scott (director and...man...well you win some you lose some). Starring early 00s faves Raven Symone (in the same year that That's So Raven premiered!), Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams (3LW <3) and Sabrina Bryan!

Find out which host did a Cheetah Girls inspired talent show number, what brilliant and surprising artist was thiiiisss close to being in the original cast, and if the girls have stood the test of time as we discuss this week's movie, The Cheetah Girls!!!

In this week's episode, we finally made it to the Disney Channel Original Behemoth, Descendants! (Not to be confused with the 2011 George Clooney dramedy.)

Descendants is part of Disney's desire to rewrite the history of their numerous villains starring Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Sofia Carson, BooBoo Stewart and character  queens Kathy Najimy as Evil Queen and Kristin Chenoweth as Elphaba! Wait...*checks notes*...I mean Maleficent! It might be interesting, but we are not interested!

But our boy Kenny is back! and.....simply middling. High School Musical this is not. We're out with the old and in with...the bad.

Join us as we attempt to see what all the hype is about, as we discuss Descendants!

Cetus lupeedus!!! In this week's episode, Adaeze and Taiwo flashback to the future and arrive in the year 1999 with Zenon:Girl of the 21st Century!

The year is 2049 and there are flying cars, regular space travel, out of this world fashions (slinkies in hair? I WANT), clip/word art has made a STRONG comeback and computers somehow still use disk drives to transmit data.

This is a 90s fever dream of halfway through the century (holy shit that's only 28 years away???) And we wouldn't have it any other way! Join these two supernova girls as they zoom zoom through this movie that makes their hearts go boom boom with Zenon!

Craze amaze dancers
BUCKY
Body positive representation (Go Bri!)
And Taiwo's personal fave:  4 of your fave 90s/00s movies rolled into one.

Join us as we unravel this thinly veiled story about segregation in this week's episode Z-O-M-B-I-E-S!

Raise your hand if the DCOM classic You Lucky Dog!  was a part of your childhood growing up. Us neither! Kirk Cameron and friends (RIP James Avery & Taylor Negron) and wife (!?!?!) round out this goofball comedy about a supposedly grown man(?) who comes into extreme wealth by way of a dog who is immune to the dangers of chocolate.

Was this the movie that made Kirk Cameron leave heathen Hollywood? And who brings a gun to a law fight? Find out the answer to this and many more in this week's episode You Lucky Dog starring Kirk Cameron and James Avery!

On this episode of Disney Deviants, it's Adaeze and Taiwo against the Phineas and Ferb Universe. Who is the Phineas and Ferb super fan that knows all the lyrics by heart? Who will spend the next few weeks binge watching this Disney Classic for more nostalgia points?
