The Christine Spar Saga has begun!! This week we cover Grendel Vol. 2 #1 aka Devil's Legacy #1. This run, originally published by Comico, was reprinted and recolored by Dark Horse. So we'll not only be tracking the growth of Christine but we'll also compare and contrast what changes the coloring went through after 14 years. (1986-2000).

This issue we pick up with Christine's life right after her book, Devil by the Deed, was published. She is hot off an appearance on Danahue and has the city buzzing. Her friend invites her to a show at Radio City Music Hall that will sets her on a path of aggression that will change this world forever!

With the end of Hunter Rose's saga we take a look at the bridge between our first two Grendels, Stacy Palumbo. Stacy's life was never easy, she lost her parents and her uncle and was adopted by the dashing socialite, Hunter Rose. Stacy grew up not only with Hunter but with "Uncle Argent" as well. Then, one fateful night, she overheard the news that would change her life...Uncle Hunter is GRENDEL!!! Stacy's life never stoped spinning out of control since. In this tale, taking place between Hunter's story and Christine's story, long time Grendel editor Dian Schutz takes the reigns and spins one of the most amazing and heart wrenching stories in all of the Grendel Cycle. This is Devil Child Part one. Art by Tim Sale colors by Teddy Kristiansen and edited by Matt Wagner.
