Another great week of Grendlin'!! This week we feature two short stories. The first, Devil's Witness, with art by Woodrow Phoenix, is about an all night police interrogation.  The second, Devil's Vagary, with art by Dean Motter, is about Grendel growing as a mob boss and a Ransom gone wrong. We had a lot to say about Devil's Vagary as it was a double sized story coming originally from the Comico Collection and not BW&R.  But what a story man, wow.  So good.  Enjoy another week and Keep on Grendlin'!!

This week we look into the rise of Grendel,  Hunter Rose's publishing career, and his rise as a lord of crime. Featuring art by Troy Nixey, Stan Shaw, The Pander Brothers and Tim Bradstreet. This week Ben and Eli tackle the first four stories in the multi-Eisner Award winning Black, White and, Red chronology. All stories written by Matt Wagner with art by: Tim Sale, Teddy H. Kristiansen, Mike Allred and David Mack. All stories deal with a young and growing Hunter Rose. Matt told us that the BW&R stories were organized chronologically for the Omnibus so we are following that order. Dig in!

This week the Friends of the Devil go deep into Comico's Grendel #3. We pick up with the murder of Barry Palumbo, uncle to "My Little Chickadee" Stacy Palumbo. There has been a murder but who has dunnit? Detective Atkins is on the scene to find out. All the while Hunter escapes with Stacy and comes head to head with Argent the Wolf. It's non-stop action this week!
