How easy is it to sit around a table, scroll through social media, or gather with friends and quietly think, "What an idiot"?
In Numbers 12:1-15, even Moses' own brother and sister fell into the trap of criticism and grumbling. But their words revealed far more about their hearts than they did about Moses.
This message explores jealousy, gossip, church conflict, family tensions, and the danger of letting resentment take root. More importantly, it shows us the surprising response of Moses, who chose prayer and forgiveness instead of retaliation.
Whether you've been hurt by criticism, struggled with bitterness, or found yourself complaining about others, this sermon offers hope and a better way forward. God's desire is not simply to expose our hearts, but to heal them.
Discover why grumbling can hinder God's work, why our words matter, and why the love of Jesus is greater than the wounds we inflict on one another.

Judges 19 contains one of the most horrific and disturbing stories in the Bible. Why is it there and what are Christians supposed to do with it?
A woman is betrayed by the very people who should have protected her. She is sexually assaulted and abused through the night. Then the Levite who failed to protect her uses her body to send an outrageous message throughout Israel.
None of this should be softened, excused, or described as God's will.
In Judges 19:20-30, we see what happens when sin is allowed to consume people, even people who claim to belong to God. But this difficult Bible passage also confronts us with another uncomfortable question: When something evil happens and our anger is justified, does that make everything we do in response righteous?
In this sermon, Pastor Jason wrestles honestly with sexual violence, abuse, victimhood, anger, justice, retaliation, and the devastating consequences of sin. The Bible does not ask us to ignore victims, sweep evil under the rug, or pretend terrible wounds disappear. Christians should speak up when people are harmed. But we must also be careful that our outrage doesn't sacrifice wounded people all over again.
Jesus offers another way. Our response to evil should seek justice without abandoning mercy, confront sin without exploiting its victims, and help restore those left wounded in its aftermath.
Sin wins when wounded people become something else to use. Jesus leads us to see them, love them, defend them, and help them toward restoration.

Never heard of Shamgar? That’s okay. Almost nobody has. 😂 The Bible gives him one verse, one farming tool, 600 defeated Philistines, and then moves on.
But maybe that is exactly why his story matters.
Most of us will never have our names known by thousands of people. We may spend our lives working ordinary jobs, raising families, serving quietly, loving people, and following Jesus without anyone noticing most of it. Sometimes that can leave us wondering: Does what I’m doing actually matter?
In this sermon from Judges 3:31, Pastor Jason Barnett explores the story of Shamgar, one of the Bible’s most overlooked judges, and what his one-verse story teaches us about faithfulness, purpose, Christian living, and leaving a godly legacy.
Your audience was never meant to be an arena full of people. Your audience is One.
God can use ordinary people, ordinary lives, and whatever He has placed in our hands to make an impact far beyond what we will ever see. You may never know how far the ripples of your faithfulness travel.
Shamgar only got one verse. But in that one verse, God used him to deliver Israel.
Your story doesn't have to be famous to matter. Be faithful with the part God has given you.

King Nebuchadnezzar had invaded his homeland, led him away as a prisoner, and looked down on him as a person, Daniel had every reason to dislike the king. But when Daniel is called upon, he reveals a heart many of us would not have at that moment. Pastor Jason shares a message from Daniel 4:19-27.

What are the idols shaping our lives today?
In Exodus 23:20–26, God commands the Israelites to reject the false gods and practices surrounding them as they journey toward the Promised Land. But while the idols of the Old Testament were often carved from stone and wood, today’s idols are far more subtle.
Pleasure. Entertainment. Money. Success. Security. Tradition.
In this special outdoor “Kickoff Sunday” service, Pastor Jason Barnett explores what it means to be completely for Jesus in a culture full of competing allegiances—and why following Christ means allowing Him to smash the idols we cling to.
This message challenges listeners to examine what they truly worship and reminds us that victory is not found in the patterns of this world, but in surrender and obedience to Jesus.

It is common for believers with lost loved ones to cry out to God to use "whatever means necessary" to save their loved ones. But what are we willing to give up? What are we willing to do to see our loved ones find Jesus?
Pastor Nicole digs into the scriptures this week inviting and challenging us to examine what it really means when we say, "by all means."

After a failure in the process and adherence to man's law, Paul and Silas challenge the magistrates of Philippi. Their boldness would generate fear from the world, but an encouragement to the Church. Pastor Jason wraps up a series in Acts 16 titled "Paul goes to jail."

Through the power of Jesus, Paul set the slave girl free from the chains of darkness. Unfortunately, the chains of her owners would teach Paul and us about the great paradox of freedom. Pastor Jason continues in part 2 of his series in Acts 16.
