Pastor Jason is will be sharing a message from Matthew 27:32-44, looking at a dark moment before Jesus dies. As He hangs between two criminals, it would seem Jesus does not have a choice in this matter. But to believe so would be to misunderstand everything.

Ezekiel is an Old Testament prophet, and he was a little different. Some scholars think he may have even been crazy. The reason he is given such a label is because of his faith. Ezekiel's faith was not passive, it was very aggressive in his devotion to God.
When God sends Ezekiel to a valley of dry bones, Ezekiel obeys. On his arrival, God tells the prophet to do something impossible. He is to command the dry bones to come alive.
Pastor Jason will be sharing from Ezekiel 37:1-11 for the 5th Sunday of Lent.

Have you ever felt overlooked, forgotten, or too unimportant for anyone to notice?
Before David became Israel's king, before he defeated Goliath, and before he was known as a man after God's own heart, he was a young shepherd tending his father's sheep. When the prophet Samuel came looking for Israel's next king, David wasn't even among the sons initially presented. It was as though everyone else had been invited to stand in line to be chosen, but David hadn't even made the list. Yet God saw someone others had overlooked.
In this sermon based on 1 Samuel 16:1–13, Pastor Jason explores the story of David's anointing and what it teaches us about finding our worth in God, feeling forgotten, God's love, and seeing others through the eyes of Jesus.
Maybe you've experienced rejection, felt invisible, or wondered whether your life really matters. David's story reminds us that our value isn't determined by our position, accomplishments, appearance, or the attention we receive from others. God sees beyond outward appearances and looks at the heart.
But this message isn't only for those who feel overlooked. It's also a challenge for those who follow Jesus. If God sees every person as important, why are Christians sometimes so quick to overlook people?
Throughout His ministry, Jesus stopped for people others ignored. He showed compassion to the hurting, welcomed the forgotten, and offered grace to those others had written off. His love wasn't reserved for the influential, successful, or religiously impressive.
As followers of Christ, we're called to share that same love. We are ambassadors of reconciliation, entrusted with the good news that no one is beyond the reach of God's grace.
You are not too unimportant for God to notice. And neither is the person you've been overlooking.
