Eugenio is one of the most important assets out there for releasing Italian films on blu ray when they are loaded with special features. He does some incredible work and is being utilized more and more for commentaries/booklets/interviews.  We had a lengthy discussion about so many different topics including how these interviews happen, what films are tied up in rights hell, why Germany loves mediabooks, and so much more!! Throughout the last 18 months or so, I have made quite a few friends. John DeMarsico is ABSOLUTELY one of them, and he just so happens to be the Game Director for SNY- the broadcasting team for the New York Mets. I had a talk with John about his viral year, film influences that brought about his iconic shots, and how physical media/films in general are a huge part of his life.  -- Follow John on Twitter here: https://twitter.com/JohnDeMarsico Follow SNY on Twitter here: https://twitter.com/SNYtv John's New York Times Article: https://www.nytimes.com/2022/08/16/sports/baseball/sny-mets-diaz.html -- Become a patron here: https://www.patreon.com/DiscConnected - Like the page and follow on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/TheDiscConnected - Join me on Instagram at: https://www.instagram.com/thediscconnected/ - Or on Twitter: https://twitter.com/disc_connected - Email: [email protected] - Merch: https://disc-connected.creator-spring.com/ - Podcast: https://thediscconnected.podbean.com - If you happen to be shopping on Amazon for something and would like to share some of Lord Bezos' profits with my channel at no additional cost to you, please consider shopping through my link: https://amzn.to/39mcX1t - Tip Jar: https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=TDEVSPJZ9EFCW or paypal.me/RVinls (friends and family only) or  Amazon wish list: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/20CR2ZN456P1B?ref_=wl_share - Music is by Michael J. Sean Baker is one of those filmmakers that I just plain appreciate. He is great at what he does... which is A LOT. He takes on so many different roles on his films and has a hand in most of the creativity on his sets as he writes/directs/edits/and does everything that else that he needs to so that he can make his vision appear in the film the exact way that he wants it to appear.  Sean is one of us- A film fan through and through. A physical media collector. Someone that follows these boutique announcements as they come out and is truly passionate about the films that he discovers through these labels. Sean is a wonderful person and a true artist.
