On this week's show, Co-Hosts David Pizzuto and Nicholas Doran had a chance to break down the spring semester with newly appointed Interim Director of Athletics T.J. Tibbs. After discussing their thoughts on the year as a whole, Pizzuto and Doran then spoke to Tibbs on how he felt about the spring competitive season, one that started in his opening days as Director. Tibbs also talked about his short and long term goals, and how he hopes the program moves in the wake of COVID and the the NCAA provisional process. The group discussed some of what Tibbs' processes will consist of this summer and how he envisions the fall upcoming, one that may include more of a sense of normalcy moving forward.
On this week's show, Co-Hosts David Pizzuto and Nick Doran chatted with CSI Baseball standout Angel Santiago, who first shed light on the role that baseball has played on his life. Originally recruited to play at St. Thomas Aquinas College, Santiago transferred to CSI this past fall, and talked about the process and the decision-making involved. The group talked about how the team navigated play in 2021, which included a short ramp-up to play and then a full-scale immersion into the East Coast Conference and NCAA Division II. Santiago shed light on some of his and the team's goals for the future, and he saved time at the end to discuss exactly how he likes his favorite food prepared.

Koerick talked about her early career and what brought her to Division II softball. They talked about the closure of NYIT and her reaction to it and what ultimately made her decide on CSI as her next home. The trio discussed the challenges associated with the COVID pause and with CSI's first-year transition into the ECC. Koerick also broke down the highs and lows of the season, and what the team is looking forward to doing in the future.

Playing with colleagues for the first time this fall, he explained how the team was able to gel and mature into one of the conference's, and now the nation's elite Rocket League teams. Kleyer lent insight into what it takes to be successful in the sport, how Esports keeps him balanced, and the future of the team that is still in its relative infancy. Getting a late start on the team, Marten has been dynamite since joining, as he currently leads the Dolphins in hitting. He talked about his decision to come play baseball at CSI, his opening semester working remotely, and his acclimation to the team now that they have been in action. He discusses the progressions his team is making and what he hopes for his future at CSI.

Luginsland shared his personal story and what got him involved in coaching throws and what brought him to CSI. He also spoke about the events themselves and techniques needed, the growth of the CSI program, what makes a perfect recruit, and how the young program has tried to steady itself during the COVID pause. We also learned of who to watch for when the season officially gets underway later this month.

Gomes recently made the decision to resign from his position and he about the difficult decision he wrestled with and how COVID was a factor in the process. He spoke about what he is most proud of and what has kept him so invested these years. The group talked about the achievements made during his tenure and also the challenges that still very much exist as he transitions out of the position. Gomes also talked about the excitement level associated with taking on a new challenge in his life, which includes a permanent move to Florida. It's a special episode with a tremendous leader you won't want to miss.
