The Doofcast

This week Matt is on vacation, so Scott journeyed south of the equator to chat with Elliot about season 2 of The Last of Us. They chat about the things they absolutely loved, the struggles they had with the show, and whether it can ultimately pull off what it wants to do.

Make sure you check out Elliot's newest show, Belting at Windmills: https://open.spotify.com/show/7gOZ4oUwLrYxZtGQoieDem

We'll be off next week but back in two weeks with another episode, Deconstructing Paul Thomas Anderson's Magnolia!

This week, we chat about the final 3 episodes of Andor and then discuss how our opinions on Rogue One have changed after a post-Andor rewatch. We say in the episode that these two things will be clearly demarcated, but that, it turns out, is a lie. We just kinda talk about both intermingled. I'd suggest you watch Andor first, then listen. Sorry!

Next week, Decostructing PTA begins with the director's first feature film:  Hard Eight

Our next book is a big one. We're reading Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry. Because this book is so long we'll be skipping the month of April and will be meeting up at the end of May to chat about it. Come join us on Friday May 30th at 9:30 PM Central Time
