A new Collective Bargaining Agreement has been agreed upon and signed by the Owners and Players of the NBA, and it comes with some major changes moving forward. In an attempt to curb Load Management, players will now be required to play at least 65 games to be in consideration for any regular season award. There will also be a new in-season tournament coming very soon, which should hopefully make the beginning of the regular season matter a bit more to the players. We are very close to the end of the regular season! We are very excited for the playoffs, but we wanted to give our selections for All-NBA and All-Rookie Teams for the 2022-2023 Season. There are definitely arguments to be made for a couple different players to be higher or lower on our list, but these are who we would give our vote to if we had one. The guard spot is very deep this year, and there are a couple of excellent guards who we do not have making our all-nba list. This NBA Season brought a lot of unexpected narratives. The Sacramento Kings arose as one of the best teams in the West, The Knicks and Jalen Brunson are a serious playoff threat, and guys like Lauri Markkanen have taken massive leaps in their game out of nowhere. There have also been some major dissapointments. The Dallas Mavericks lose Jalen Brunson for nothing in the offseason, trade for Kyrie Irving halfway through the season, and are now struggling just to win games. Many players, like Zion Williamson, haven't been able to play the amount of games that they'd want to play. Enjoy!

Today, we give grades for the 2022 NBA Draft Class, giving grades between A-F for each of the first round picks, and some of the noticeable second round picks. Our grades are based on how each of these rookies has performed this year and how well they have met or exceeded their expectations. Guys like Jalen Williams and Walker Kessler have exceeded expectations in a big way, while a guy like Paolo has been excellent from the start but has had very expectations set on him from the start. We are very close to the end of the regular season! Today we thought it would be a good idea to give our award predictions for each of the different Regular Season Awards. The MVP award is too close to call right now, but the 3 finalists for the award seem pretty clear: Jokic, Embiid, and Giannis. The ROTY race has a clear favorite in Paolo Banchero, but a late push from Jalen Williams could potentially swing voters, and Kessler's defense has been incredible all year. There are a lot of players putting up MVP-esque Seasons this year, but only 3 belong in the front of the race: Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Joel Embiid. The MVP race is a close one this year, and we probably won't know who's going to win until the season ends. The Warriors have been through turmoil this season, and with the strength of this year's Western Conference, it makes sense to wonder whether or not they can make it back to the Finals. The Celtics have been an incredible team all season, but the strength of the Bucks will always be a challenge to deal with, and the Celtics' odds of winning that series may not be as high as we initially thought. The Lakers are rising in the Standings, and the players on the team are reportedly very interested in matching up with the 2nd-seeded Kings. That would be a very entertaining series and would have some great strategizing coming from both sides. The Kings' playoff drought looks to finally be over after 16 years, but how far they will go in the playoffs is a question. Enjoy!

The NY Knicks are on a 9 game winning streak and have been beating some really good teams in that span. Randle and Brunson have looked great, but the depth has really been the difference maker lately. The Celtics have lost 4 of their last 5 and are no longer the best record in the NBA. The Slip up has been strange, but hopefully it's cleared up by playoff time. Ja Morant has been suspended for 2 games following some very strange off-the-court antics, and the extent that he will be suspended moving forward will be very interesting to monitor. KD has played for the Suns finally and he looks amazing, and the Suns will struggle to lose games with him healthy. Enjoy!

We are into the back half of the season and many players have started turning their slow starts to the season around. Klay Thompson is shooting 46% from 3 in the month of February, Trae Young has been balling for the last few months, Mark Williams has been getting playing time for the Hornets, and there are many others like them. Damian Lillard put up 71 points in 39 minutes yesterday against the Rockets in one of the most impressive regular season games of the entire season. The Lakers have looked incredible since trading Russell Westbrook, and the Clippers have played well, but have nothing to show for it. Enjoy!

The Phil Jackson Theory is the idea that the only "True Contenders" are teams that reach 40 wins before getting 20 losses. Since 1980, all but 4 champions have followed this rule. There are 3 teams that follow that rule this year, and it seems very likely one of them is taking home the chip. The Suns are a team that does not fit that rule, but may very well be contending for a championship this season.
