The talk therapy wasn't making any Progress, so he decided to try the psychedelic MDMA therapy in Pennsylvania.[00:09:25] - Jill had her first psychedelic assisted psychotherapy session with the psychedelic MDMA. She was able to talk about some horrific childhood stuff, like her mother shooting herself, her father abusing her, and her mother abusing her. After the integration, she was ready for another journey when her body would start tightening up again. Jill explains the integration process of physical therapy. It's getting the mindset right of what you want to accomplish and getting clear on that. Jill has never done drugs recreationally, so he can't speak to that and remembers MDMA. Jill didn't trust adults when he was a child.[00:18:11] - After the third journey, he was no longer diagnosed with PTSD. He had a dream about himself as a little five-year-old malnourished girl with a pacman head full of teeth. In his childhood home, he used magic mushrooms and psilocybin and the house disintegrated around him. Anne's therapy is in phase three clinical trials. It's probably going to go to the FDA for approval in 2023. The FDA is working with Johns Hopkins on Psilocybin Breakthrough Therapy. I am Sejal Thakkar, a recovering employment law attorney, and I now run my own company called Train Extra. I also recently became the Chief Culture Officer for a venture studio called Nobody Studios. I got into this work because I saw a need for better education around workplace conflict and civility. I grew up in Chicago in the 80s as the only Indian family in an Italian neighborhood, and so I experienced a lot of racism and bullying. I decided early on that I wanted to be a lawyer so that I could help other people who were experiencing bias and discrimination. However, I ended up representing managers who were accused of hurting other people. Through this work, I learned a lot about unconscious bias and its impact on our lives. I decided to share my knowledge on the.
