Dr. Darren Jakubec lives in Smithers BC Canada. He is an anesthetist with 23 years practicing family medicine in many locations in rural Canada in office, emergency room and pain clinic settings. Jake has had a personal dream practice for 8 years and has integrated dreamwork into his medical practice for the past 7 years. Jake has seen the remarkable difference in patient outcomes when he has payed attention to what has been called mind-body medicine, paying attention to the inner journey as well as the outer journey. Jake has been trying to find a language that is accessible to what “western” medical practitioners and to bring in wellness and thriving into western medical practice as opposed to just surviving.
