What do you know about government regulations for a trade or industry?
Gordy Powell long believed that clients in need of trauma scene clean up services would benefit from industry standards and on August 4, 2020, his five year passion project came to fruition with Georgia House Bill 417 being signed into law.
Mr. Powell believes strongly that regulation is a step in the right direction for raising the bar in his industry segment and projecting consumers from predatory service providers. While Gordy Powell and his business partner Doug Cunningham, both of Georgia Clean, were the power duo that helped get this ball into the endzone, this effort has been endorsed by heavy hitting trade industries:
AIR / Alliance of Independent Restorers
ABRA / American Bio-Recovery Association
IICRC / Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification
NFIB / National Federation of Independent Business
RIA / Restoration Industry Association
SCRT / Society of Cleaning and Restoration
