Mr Yacoub Gewargis, member of Kurdistan Parliament and member of political bureau of Assyrian Democratic Movement, said that the major political parties do not have the political will to change the electoral system.

He told SBS “Because of the recent results of the Iraqi elections, we discussed at our conference the reasons and bases of action to unify the ranks of our people so that the dominant parties will not confiscate their will”
