Today I have with me Sharee Shefket, mindset expert and founder of Wellness Coaching Company. Sharee was a counselor for 16 years before moving into the disability sector, then transitioned into hypnotherapy. She is a certified HypnoFit therapist and she runs a busy clinic and will soon be releasing a self development book for children.
Sharee works her clients through emotional blocks, which often have very real consequences within the body. Often, those emotional blocks aren't even their own fears, but inherited from someone else earlier in life. Mental health isn't quite the same thing as emotional health - it's the flip side of the same coin.
Sharee's top 3 tips for better emotional health:
1. Face your fears. Turn on the light and examine that boogeyman.
2. Rewire your brain the same way you would clean up your computer files or browser tabs.
3. Love yourself. You deserve to be loved. Every person is valid and every person deserves to be loved.
When it comes to weight loss, Sharee often finds that the reasons people hold on to weight are not as simple as eating too much. There are often some deep emotional wounds and blocks that contribute to the self sabotage that causes weight gain.
You deserve to love yourself and put yourself first. It's your time to shine, and that starts with addressing your spiritual, emotional, and physical health, all 3, in order to create your magical life.

Amy L Bernstein writes stories that let readers feel while making them think. Her novels include The Potrero Complex, The Nighthawkers, Dreams of Song Times, and Fran, the Second Time Around. Amy is an award-winning journalist, playwright, speechwriter, and certified nonfiction book coach.
From Amy:
I believe that cultivating and practicing any artform is intrinsically good for mental and physical health. For me, writing fiction and nonfiction help me, as an introvert, to share and community feelings I might otherwise keep bottled up. For others, drawing, painting, sewing, sculpting, baking, etc., can help so much in managing moods and encouraging positive feelings and a sense of calm.

My guest today is Kenna Dean, former actress and founder of KDean Consulting, which specializes in sales coaching and helping people to become more persuasive, have more presence, and make more of an impact in their career and in their life. Kenna juggled motherhood and running her own business, and grew that business to 7 figures per year with 11 full time employees. She didn't have much support early in life, so she learned how to be resilient and choose action over being the victim.
Kenna's top 3 tips for keeping yourself resilient are:
1. No excuses!
2. Keep self-care a priority.
3. Don't believe the naysayers.
Years ago, Kendra suffered from anorexia. With help, she was able to recover and repair her relationship with food. After that and her office building catching on fire, she realized that she couldn't do everything by herself. She needed to pull from her resources and get help. Her advice is to use whatever you can, be it friends, therapy, sleep, whatever it is to pull you through the difficult time. Having a business coach can help keep you on the path when you feel like you can't see where you're going.
When starting your own business, you will fall on your face. But that's how you learn what works, what doesn't, pick yourself up and try it again. What a coach or a mentor can do for you is keep you accountable, give you ideas, and save you some of the heartache that comes with building a business.
Kenna is offering a couple of free strategy sessions to our listeners. You can contact her at the links below.

Did you know that there are four parts to your brain - and that one of these parts controls everything about your life? Used correctly, this part will solve any problem and help you live a life of success and happiness. Used the wrong way and you will struggle and create even more problems for yourself.
Science has only recently discovered this fourth part of the brain, and how it works, but the evidence is startling.
In this episode Liam explains what these four parts of your brain are, and most importantly, how to use this fourth part (unknown by science until recently) to create success in every area of your life.
