Throughout her six years of experience in the field of Arts in Health, Brooke McKinney has witnessed firsthand the healing capacity of the arts. As an Artist-in-Residence with Art with a Heart in Healthcare (AWAHIH), Brooke passionately provides fine art experiences for pediatric patients and their families at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.
AWAHIH has hundreds of art tutorial videos using basic art supplies that we encourage listeners to check out.
We're doing one of Brooke's personal favorite's, Zentangle, today! Zentangle can be done with just a pen and paper and can be a daily practice.
Amy L Bernstein writes stories that let readers feel while making them think. Her novels include The Potrero Complex, The Nighthawkers, Dreams of Song Times, and Fran, the Second Time Around. Amy is an award-winning journalist, playwright, speechwriter, and certified nonfiction book coach.
From Amy:
I believe that cultivating and practicing any artform is intrinsically good for mental and physical health. For me, writing fiction and nonfiction help me, as an introvert, to share and community feelings I might otherwise keep bottled up. For others, drawing, painting, sewing, sculpting, baking, etc., can help so much in managing moods and encouraging positive feelings and a sense of calm.

Rob Willey is a feature film and music video director from Victoria, British Columbia. Rob sang and played guitar in rock bands for years, where he first started directing music videos to promote their songs. His music video “Out of Your Head” won Best Music Video at the 2012 Vancouver Island Music Awards, and Rob soon became regarded as one of the top up-and-coming music video directors in Canada. In 2016 Rob wrote and directed his first full-length feature film Dark Cove. The independent thriller went on to receive critical acclaim, with iHorror.com calling the movie “…an incredible, strikingly unique psychological thriller.” Rob was inspired by the DIY independent filmmakers of Generation X such as Robert Rodriguez, Richard Linklater, and Doug Liman, and applied many of their guerrilla low-budget shooting techniques in his early work.
Tall Grass Films are pleased to announce that their feature film River Road will be available to stream on Apple TV on August 3, 2022, followed by Amazon and Google Play on August 12th. River Road is about a musician, Travis (Cody Kearsley), who starts an intense romance with the fun-loving, hard-partying Zoe (Lexi Redman). They soon spiral downward into a world of heroin and crime.

"At the early age of 19, I was an entrepreneur of my first dance studio. During my time as a dancer and business owner, I was offered the opportunity to audition for the Atlanta Hawks NBA dance team competing against 400 girls and was awarded to be one of 12 members. My success led me to the 42nd Street, Will Rogers Follies, and became the Dance Captain of the World Famous Radio City Rockettes. My Dancing career led me to choreography and choreographed the show 'Beats of Passion' at the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
On top of my career in health and fitness as well as my time as a business owner, dance team member and choreographer, I am a single mother of two beautiful children.
I have done this while suffering hardship that led to unhealthy nutrition and poor choices in my life style. I walked this journey with just my two children and within a year and a half of making better choices, I lost 100 pounds. This has given me the confidence to stand tall and held the title of United States of America Ms. Nevada 2021. I am now doing Masterclasses for students of all ages in modeling, interview, health, and self-awareness. I wish to empower women by inspiring them to fight through any fears or disbeliefs they may have and live their best lives."

A registered Nutritional Therapist who is passionate about empowering women to reclaim their health through realistic evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle modifications. I live and work in Sweden and the UK.
"I was lucky enough to grow up on a farm in Southern England which gave me a great love for nature and the outdoor life and on top of that my mother was a professional chef who allowed me from a very young age to help and watch her in the kitchen. This was the beginning of my love for food.
I have travelled extensively and lived in different parts of the world. This has given me the opportunity to experience different cultures, cuisines and lifestyles.
Having had a career in the health and beauty industry for many years, I was always amazed to see how simple lifestyle and nutritional changes could improve not only people’s health and well-being but also their happiness. Throughout my career journey, my underlying passion has always been about health and nutrition. It gives me great pleasure to help people overcome their health issues so that they can look and feel better. I truly believe that with good nutritious food and lifestyle choices the body can heal itself and age healthily. My aim is to focus on positive nutrition - it's not about restriction, it's about what we can include in our diet for maximum health.
Having overcome my own health issues, I really do understand how my clients feel when they first come to see me.
I work very closely with my clients to ensure that they take positive steps to a healthier life. Clients often lack confidence and may often feel very daunted at the prospect of making changes. As a nutritional therapist, I support and give my clients the tools to be able to maintain long-term health with renewed confidence and enthusiasm. I combine my understanding, enthusiasm and passion with my love of food to help people become the best versions of themselves.
When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, being in the kitchen, and experimenting with new recipe ideas. I am also a keen scuba diver, golfer, hiker, and beekeeper and enjoy being in the great outdoors."
