  • Following The Horses’ Voice
As an only child with no family involved with horses, Cassie was lucky enough to have parents that allowed her to try all sorts of hobbies and sports to determine which one lit her up. She started taking riding lessons at 5 years old and never looked back. After nearly two decades of gaining experience working with horses using only pressure and release, she crossed paths with her current partner, Annie. At the time, she was a horse so sensitive to pressure that she forced Cassie to look for other ways to work with her. Annie caused her to recalibrate her training compass to learn about and ultimately prioritize the use of positive reinforcement in all of her equine interactions. This not only led Cassie to huge shifts in her training, but as you'll hear in this episode, also in her entire life.We hope you enjoy this episode!! Feel free to give Cassie a follow on instagram @thepositivepony

  • A Reclaiming of the Wild Hearth ft. Miryam Brown Alsua
Miryam is an ethereal, bilingual medicine woman who loves sharing her heart felt lived experiences and wisdom with those she connects with. She is a yoga instructor, child birth educator, traditional birth witness, and passionate nature lover. She believes wholeheartedly in the power of radical responsibility, returning to our roots, conscious living, pranayama, and mindfulness. Currently pregnant with her first child, she reflects what exactly led her to where she is at today and the journey it has been to meet herself in loving awareness and compassion. She shares the message of the reconnection between body and spirit and a remembering of the divine within.
You can find her at www.existenciadivinia.com and @existenciadivinia_ on instagram!
Miryam and I met in treatment several years ago. Miryam has always had such an essence about her, and I have followed her on her journey to health and transformation for many years since discharging treatment. It has been so amazing to see her transform into the beautiful, powerful, woman that she was meant to find through yoga, nature, and plant medicine!

  • Women Helping Women With Special Guest Sarah Derige
Hello everyone I am so excited about today's episode because I have a very special guest, Sarah Derige. Sarah and I connected through a health and wellness group and instantly connected.
Sarah Derige is a learning fanatic with multiple degrees and certificates including a Bachelor's in Social Work, Master's in Administration, training in Functional Nutrition, and Health and Wellness Coaching. Sarah left a successful position with a healthcare organization when she realized that she was not alone in her struggle with insulin resistance. Seeing the huge void that exists in addressing insulin resistance and insulin resistant related disorders, Sarah spends her time working with women so they can achieve their "Mount Everest Moment" too.
In this episode we talk about women struggling with insulin resistance, the problem with diet culture, and ways to grow as a community to start helping women around the world!
