The Magician, Death | Mercury in Scorpio until November 24th

This timeframe will allow us to dive deep and look at what we've been suppressing. We can create a little more space for ourselves to breathe as we talk about things we're uncomfortable with. We can decided to be vulnerable and caretake ourselves during the act of vulnerability

Mercury in Scorpio encourages us to talk about taboo subjects with people who we can trust. Other people may bring up topics, opening up the door for discussion and our depth of discomfort and pain around these subjects will tell us a lot about our experiences and historical connection to certain themes

Taboo is different for everyone and there isn't anything too dark or weird for Scorpio, however, you need to draw boundaries where you see fit. I also see that it's a good time to create a plan for getting through the holidays. If you need to call on spirits, start working with their energy now and don't wait until you're in dire need. On the physical plane ask for help, space, or whatever this coming holiday season and break the cycles of silence that have survived within your family and friend groups

There are questions that we all have about why certain things are the way they are and this Mercury in Scorpio can help us all find our inner fire to challenge what's normal but also unhelpful. New desires for transparency arise, although it's safer to not expect everyone to be on board with this. Anyone in a constant state of dysregulation is likely to be very mysterious about their feelings and thoughts during this time, perhaps because they're internally overwhelmed and unable to connect with their deepest needs

New Moon in Scorpio: Death, Wheel of Fortune, 8 of Cups  

Change is within us and all around us yet one of the hardest things to do is open up to the change. As we advance to new levels we’re stretched to trust, remain open, and firmly + repeatedly affirm our truth in the face of the unknown and adversity

Change, even positive change, brings up a lot of emotions in most of us and sometimes we judge our response to change by thinking we should be in a different phase of our relationship to it than we actually are

Questions I answer: Where do we get the idea that positive change equals easy transitions? Where do we get the idea that grief can’t also be commingled with relief? What keeps us trapped in personalizing change? What keeps us trapped in needing to fully understand the change before we accept it?

Sometimes we don’t even know what exactly the change is. Saying “I don’t even know what’s changing but I feel the change” can be a really benefit step for staying grounded and present. Acknowledging what is happening in any given moment will continue reinforcing your inner strength  I hope this new moon message supports you and I'd really appreciate if you could share this message with others

We are all designed to create and birth new things into the world. By doing this we shape the world we live in. The idea of birth is a metaphor and isn't gender specific because anyone has the ability to create

Current themes:

- Wanting to create a better life for your kiddos than you had

- Wanting to make more than anyone else in your family

- Wanting to break the patterns of chaos, control, manipulation

- Wanting to repair damage from ancestors

Times of creativity can also spin our minds out into over-planning and I can personally share that I do need to have a strong grounding practice when I'm in a creative space because I can become so wrapped up in the excitement that I overlook other emotions that are equally valid, such as grief and sadness

We can't control that certain thoughts, feelings, and emotions come up but we can control our relationship with them. If we ignore what arises into our consciousness we are ignoring the parts of ourselves that need love and attention

QUESTIONS FOR YOUR SHADOW:

- If you could create a new way of living today for yourself what would that look and feel like for you?

- Which creative ideas are you downplaying? Why might you be doing that?

- What is the worst that can happen if you take action towards your creative ideas?

- Do you notice yourself believing any of the irrational beliefs listed above? If yes, what other beliefs would you like to counter those with?

- What practical information do you need to gather to decrease any anxiety/doubt/worry?
