FULL MOON IN GEMINI ASSIGNMENT: Get real with yourself and have the tough conversation about when you're falling into irrational thinking. What is happening in your life -- do you have sources of unchecked stress?
Journal the thoughts that circulate daily and cross out ones you want to practice shifting away from. Next to the thoughts you want to leave behind, write down thoughts you want to pay attention to. Make a plan of action you can commit to that keeps you on track with balanced thoughts + releases stress from your nervous system. Take time to contemplate what is working well and/or smoothly, even if it's one small thing and focus on that. Make that small thing part of your daily practice. Your peace of mind is important and you're responsible for creating it! If you're feeling open to expressing gratitude and celebrating ~ do so!

Ways to shift from irrational to rational thoughts:
- Identify the thought(s)
- Identify underlying feelings and take self soothing action
- Find exceptions to the "rules" your mind is creating about how things "have to be" or "should be"
- Discredit the irrational thoughts with evidence
- Replace the irrational thoughts with truer, more factual thoughts
- Continue to nurture + pay attention to feelings of calm, peace, contentment and openness in the body
