In today's episode we dive futher into siteworks. This episode will be released as part 2 of a 2 part series.

Today we dive a little deeper into the different things that can increase the price of your siteworks. The main three we discuss are Bushfire Attack Level (BAL), Coastal Attenuation and Noise Attenuation.

As a quick summary:
 BAL - Bushfire Attack Level is a method for rating the intensity of a locations potential exposure to bushfire. This is dictated by a few factors main thing is bushland, secondary is the trajectory of wind.

Coastal Attenuation - is a method for rating the intensity of a locations potential exposure to high concentrations of airborne sea salt which can cause corrosion.
 
 Noise Attenuation - is a method for rating the intensity of a locations potential exposure to constant noise pollution.

Welcome to episode 25 of The Enthusiast Lab,

In today's episode we dive into siteworks. This episode will be released as part 1 of a 2 part series.
“What does siteworks even mean” is a question we receive on a regular basis, so we thought we would break it down. We discuss what is included and how it is calculated.

Firstly, siteworks are the work required to prepare the land on which your home is being built. Without it your house would not be stable and secure. Therefore, no matter which builder people choose to build with, siteworks will always be on the agenda. There is also no “one size fits all” when it comes to siteworks because each piece of land is different.
We then discuss the difference between provisional vs fixed, soil classification and then all the things that are part of siteworks.

Welcome to episode 20 of The Enthusiast Lab,

In today's episode we talk about Animal Protection Society of Western Australia (APSWA).

The Animal Protection Society of WA Inc. at 27 Talbot Road, Southern River is a not-for-profit refuge for homeless cats and dogs. The main goal of the APS is to care for abandoned animals whilst finding them a loving home with a responsible owner.

The refuge caters for up to 24 dogs, 65 cats and 45 kittens at any one time, and relies solely on the selfless efforts of a group of wonderful volunteers led by a volunteer management committee. The refuge receives limited government funding, so relies on donations, fundraising and membership fees to meet the ongoing costs of maintaining the refuge.
