Welcome to this week’s Entrepreneur Express Tip in 5 minutes or less! Today we are talking about scaling without friction. Oftentimes business owners can be afraid to scale and grow their business because they know it will come with headaches, obstacles, growing pains and overall frustration. I am here to tell you that you can scale without friction if you are thoughtful, strategic, and growing the team you love with the right people. It really is an art to scale without friction. However, when you have the right systems and processes in place to create boundaries around yourself and your company so that you are scaling, it can happen without friction. Yes, growing can be challenging - tt should push you and make you think, but it does not have to be approached with friction. So, what can you do? Seeing a process and making sure you have a solid foundation is imperative. You should not try to grow if your foundation is not solid and you don’t know where you are going. Being thoughtful and strategic is key to growing without friction and I know you can do it!
The Team Maker Formula is a great course that will walk you through how to make sure you are scaling without friction with the right team in place. You can find it here: https://ievolveconsulting.com/how-to-build-your-dream-team-master-class/

Welcome to this week’s Entrepreneur Express Tip in 5 minutes or less! Today we are talking about your breakeven number. This time of year (end the year/beginning of the year) is a really good time to analyze your breakeven number. Sometimes we will steer away from it, but as expenses and revenue changes, the breakeven number can change and we must remain focused. The best way to look at your breakeven is to reach out to your bookkeeper, accountant, etc. and have them identify it. However, I want you to break it down even more. I want you to get an analysis of what your fixed costs are and what your variable costs are in 2022. As you look at your variable costs, you can see what was a spend in 2021 that won’t’ be a spend in 2022. And as you look at fixed costs, I want you to look at how you can trim the fat and maximize those expenses, so they are working for you. Analyzing the fixed costs (like subscriptions and technology platforms) might make you realize you are not using some anymore and cutting these saves money. The operation of your businesses is all those expenses in between and you want to make sure you are looking at your breakeven number and analyzing it as you go into the new year.
The Team Maker Formula is a 10-module “go-at-your-own-pace” course that will walk you through finding your next best hire. You can buy it here: https://ievolveconsulting.com/how-to-build-your-dream-team-master-class/

Welcome to this week’s Entrepreneur Express Tip in 5 minutes or less! It’s that time of year where we need to revisit our habits and see what is working and what’s not working. I encourage you to do this seasonally, sometimes even monthly, because we can get off track, especially during the holidays or the start of the new year. I want you to revisit both your good habits and your bad habits. Are there habits you need to break? I don’t know what it is for you, but I know what is for me and I’m always trying to be in check with my bad habits and work toward improving my good habits. Things like sleep are huge and analyzing these routines can be vital to make sure your days are starting off on the right foot. It’s so helpful to you and your business to analyze your habits and adjust the ones that are causing you strife and build on the ones that are serving you well.

Welcome to this week’s Entrepreneur Express Tip in 5 minutes or less! Things are moving so fast right now and as entrepreneurs we are wired to be tenacious and keep on going no matter what. However, sometimes we forget to stop and celebrate the small wins. Sometimes we fall into the bad habit of always moving on to the next thing, even after a win. Today I encourage you to stop on the mountain and turn around to look down the mountain and see how far you’ve come. We continuously look up the mountain to see where we need to go and how far we need to keep climbing, but today let’s stop, celebrate and applaud how far you, your company and team has come. I also want you to take this to your team and allow them to celebrate and reflect on how far the company has come and the impact it has made. Take time to look down the mountain and high-five your team - this can serve as important fuel to keep on going.
