Jenn Johnson learned more about intuition after listening to what her body was telling her. After years of nursing in the ER, she started feeling about what was going on with her patients before tests would clearly show the diagnosis. Jenn has been an ER nurse in Canada for many years. Through those years, she was bullied and had to leave jobs because the toxic people she was working with were never dealt with, so she decided to move on. With all of her experience at the bedside, she also realized that she could use her intuition, that gut feeling we all get sometimes, to get her patients the care they need much more quickly than if she waited for lab and diagnostic tests to come back. Her colleagues respect her as she uses her intuition to quickly communicate with others to get patients treated before they become even worse off. Join me as Jenn and I laugh and cry our way through her story in using intuition in her nursing career.

Patrick & Meagan Ryan entered into the fitness industry via body building, and it was through that experience that they quickly learned they were developing disordered eating habits and acute body dysmorphia. This led to their shift from vanity metrics to sanity metrics. Their philosophy at Aware Fitness Coaching stands in stark contrast to the one-size-fits-all approach commonly advocated and they believe that true health encompasses more than just what you eat and how you move. It involves a holistic understanding of your well-being as well as acknowledging the many dimensions that contribute to a balanced and fulfilling life. Hanging out with Patrick and Meagan was a refreshing experience as we chat about diet, exercise, bodybuilding, mindset and the inner transformation that leads to the outer transformation.

Since birth, Marcy Langlois has faced formidable difficulties, undergoing more than twenty surgical procedures to address her cleft lip and palate. As Marcy progressed through Catholic grade school, she confronted another layer of self-discovery: her attraction to girls rather than boys. Confusion and shame about her sexuality reinforced her already entrenched beliefs of being worthless and unlovable. In her quest to silence the nagging voice in her mind, Marcy turned to alcohol during her middle school years. While it temporarily numbed her pain, it accelerated a downward spiral. The tragic car accident she was involved in during high school claimed the lives of three individuals, fueling her guilt and deepening her reliance on alcohol as an escape. Rock bottom was the turning point for Marcy at the age of 27. Utilizing resources provided by a Twelve-Step Program, she embarked on a miraculous journey of recovery. Today, Marcy lives a life filled with self-love and contentment. She and her wife have cultivated a beautiful, lasting relationship for over twenty years. Professionally, Marcy achieved remarkable success as a Mortgage Banker and Vice President in the banking industry and now works at a top mortgage banking business. Marcy Langlois exemplifies the power of resilience in the face of daunting challenges. Her journey serves as an inspiring testament to the possibilities of personal growth and triumph over adversity.
