Treat all weapos as if they are loaded

Never point the muzzle at anything you are not willing to destroy and take full responsibility for. 

Finger straight and out of the trigger guard until the sights are on target 

Be sure of your target and backstop, you own the bullet until it comes to a complete rest 

Use the bolt as your visual safety indicator
