The Everyday Sniper

The Everyday Sniper Podcast: Sir Marcus Taylor of Gravity Ballistics

It's been long enough, we know weaponized math works, but the wording is too generic to give it any real takeoff so we need to change that.  I present you with Sir Marcus Taylor of Gravity Ballistics !  A student said to us this cycle of Weaponized Math, "this weaponized math worksheet makes us look good".  I honestly can't think of a better endorsement for it.  There really is not easier way to dope a rifle than weaponized math or now in this case Gravity Ballistics.  The GB Factor is gravity, since it's pretty constant it just works.   There are no inputs to get wrong.  We don't need a muzzle velocity, we don't need a ballistic coefficient,  we don't need sight height or latitude.  All you need with Gravity Ballistics is a 100 yard zero and fairly level range.  Angles need special attention but it's just math so we can do it.

Thank you Alaska, Marc and Frank classes have seen over 1000 students. We have learned a ton and helped more shooters excel than I can describe.

Thanks for sharing, thanks for commenting, thanks for coming to Marc and Frank Classes !

The Everyday Sniper Podcast: CR2 Shooting Solutions, Stuff with Chris

Chris Roberts from CR2 Shooting Solutions is on the phone with me. We are talking gear, some new products and where were are looking for things like Ammo today.

We discuss:

• Fireworks, are all your fingers and toes in place

Fun little talk happening between Chris and I so check it out.

It's funny the shooting gear discussions and videos gain more traction lately than instructional videos. People are back in gear mode again, maybe because disposable money is tight so they want to buy a hit vs training one.

The CR2 Supply Cage is a great place to get ammo, Garmin stuff, and more. I use it all the time now as Chris as stuff at really good prices.

The Everyday Sniper Podcast: May 5th Update

Dang, I missed a podcast for you all last week. I recorded it, but then thought better of putting it up as it was bit scatterbrained.  We were damage controlling the Live Stream on the SH App and the diagnosis part would be annoying to listen to.

Anyway, in this episode, beside catching up you the Chris Way RifleKraft collaborations, I mention the new Aero Precision Solus. This new $2k Precision Rifle from Aero Precision is sweet. It checks all the boxes, and has a very nice short throw 3-lug action to boot.

Pop into the Snipers Hide App, we are doing Lives every week, makes sure you link the App to your account in the browser first then the Hide TV will be active.

The Everyday Sniper Podcast: Chris & Frank Gadgets

Had Chris over the house today, we did a live stream plus podcast. I had to adjust my system some what to use the computer to live stream and podcast at the same time.  Getting all the stuff to communicate correctly can be a challenge.

Chris and I talk gadgets, what helps, how can it hurt you, what are the needs?

Is it information or efficiency you are looking for, a gadget either provides information or helps streamline a process.

We showed you the RRS SC DUO and the Attachment for the BulletSeeker, all cool stuff to use.

Thanks for listening, sharing, and being a part of the everyday sniper podcast

The Everyday Sniper Podcast: Jacob Bynum State of the Union Talk

Interesting call from Jacob Bynum of Rifles Only.  He pinged to discussion his recent Nomad or Outlaw Match, meaning he had no affiliation to any league and he was Surprised to see and hear from the Sponsors.

The Sponsors for Rifles Only Spring match stepped up bigger being the match was not affiliated to any league or series.  I have noticed the sponsors buying ads with me discussion the lack of return.  The series have a big voice but very little actual reach.  The message carries but he return for sponsors just isn't there.  Sure they will use the name and resources but really, the investment is lost.

Jacob also had a user question, this was about only have one rifle.  Both Jacob and agreed an 308 Gas Gun would be best if you could only have one.

The Everyday Sniper Podcast: Chris & Frank Standards

The deeper we dive into this precision rifle stuff, the more we see the need for standards, as well as ranking for the shooter.  I really think we are missing an opportunity the Handgun people have enjoyed for some time now.  Standards and Rankings.

We are live n the Sniper's Hide App, as well as recording the Everyday Sniper Podcast.

You can watch the video of this episode at Sniper's Hide in the Hide TV Archives for our Live.

It's a great topic we are talking about and how the competition world can incorporate more information in the scores or using skills stages or standards in a different way.

The Everyday Sniper Podcast: Small, Medium and Large Live Simulcast

Chris Way and Frank are doing a Friday Night Live on Sniper's Hide and we are simulcasting it to the Podcast.

Really what I was trying to do was test the live streaming service after replacing my router this week.  We were struggle to keep the live stream connected to the Hide TV system, but once I replaced my router all things are working again.

To connect your SH account to the Hide TV app and to view the Live Streams, use the desktop of your computer to link your Sniper's Hide Account to Hide TV app and voila it works.

Again, thanks for listening, thanks for sharing, and thanks for being a part of the Everyday Sniper Podcast
