Running a business is so much more than systems, strategy, and sales, it’s about who you are as a leader, the life you’re creating, and the experiences you’re shaping along the way.

I remembered this when I left my corporate career six years ago to become a full-time entrepreneur. I wanted freedom, fulfillment, and purpose,  not to keep wishing away time until five o’clock, the weekend, or the next vacation.

But somewhere along the way, I forgot. And I see so many entrepreneurs fall into the same trap. We get caught up in the hustle, in chasing milestones, in trying to keep all the plates spinning  and we lose sight of why we started in the first place.

That’s why I created Beyond Your Business. I’m Amy Sussex, a business consultant supporting entrepreneurs behind the scenes with operations, client experience, and strategy  and a fellow entrepreneur navigating the highs and lows of growing a business while raising a family.

This podcast is where we get real about what it actually takes to lead in business and in life.
