Up Next: "Astrophysics for People in a Hurry" by Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
What is the nature of space and time? How do we fit within the universe? How does the universe fit within us? There’s no better guide through these mind-expanding questions than acclaimed astrophysicist and best-selling author Neil deGrasse Tyson. "Astrophysics for People in a Hurry" is an exploration of the vast universe and the fundamental concepts of astrophysics. Tyson takes readers on a journey through space and time, discussing topics such as the origins of the universe, the nature of dark matter and dark energy, the lives of stars, black holes, and the search for extraterrestrial life. The book presents complex ideas in a way meant to be easy to understand for readers with little to no background in astrophysics. Although, the ladies conclude people probably shouldn’t be in a hurry while learning about something as complex as astrophysics! Moni and Kat contemplate the enormity of the universe and what it means to exist at all. Tune in to an engaging discussion of the basic concepts of our universe while veering into Star Trek and other fun anecdotes. Enjoy!
