Being truly powerful has always involved masterfully exploiting leverage. Leveraging means using borrowed capital, labour or networks to increase the impact of one’s investments, financial or otherwise. For most of human history, leverage was only accessible to those with physical force, or land, or networks, or capital. But leverage has never been as accessible as it is now.

Write an article on Medium and within a day it can be read hundreds of thousands of times for free. Create a new SaaS product, and it can be sold to hundreds of clients, with almost no additional work.
