  • Truth Exposed: The Connections Between Pornography and Pediatric Sexual Assault, hosted by Joseph Kohm with guest Heidi Olson

On January 15, 2025, the United States Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in a case called Free Speech Coalition vs. Paxton. This case will determine the fate of 19 state laws protecting children from access to online pornography through mandatory age verification requirements.

Most children are first exposed to pornography when they are somewhere between seven and 13 years old, and by the time they are 18, most of them have seen it. This case is historic but for far more than just this reason.

Pornography is the marketing arm of the sexual revolution. The Supreme Court could rule in June that states have the right and duty to protect children from the harms of pornography. Such a ruling would unseat the ethics of the sexual revolution from its place in the minds of most people as the primary lens through which they think about and engage in physical intimacy.

In this series, we will explore the broken promises and heartbreaking results of the sexual revolution, primarily through the internet, and thereby gain a better understanding of just how much is at stake in this historic case.

In this episode, Joseph Kohm, the Policy Director at Family Policy Alliance, deals with the intersection of pornography and pediatric sexual assault. He is joined by Heidi Olson. Heidi is a registered nurse and the founder and President of Paradigm Shift Training and Consulting, which equips healthcare workers with skills-based training to identify human trafficking and exploitation. • Truth Exposed: How Pornography Fuels Sex Trafficking, hosted by Joseph Kohm with guest Helen Taylor

Is pornography related to the sex industry, prostitution, and sex trafficking? The answer is a definitive YES. The connections are many—and concerning—for those seeking to protect families and children from harm and exploitation.

In this episode, FPA Director of Public Policy Joseph Kohm talks with Vice President of Impact for Exodus Cry Helen Taylor.

Exodus Cry is an international organization committed to abolishing sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. Exodus Cry fights trafficking in three major ways: shifting culture through award-winning films that reach millions of viewers; launching viral advocacy campaigns (such as #Traffickinghub and #Protectchildrennotporn) and reaching out to victims and survivors of sexual exploitation, providing assistance and trauma therapy services.

Helen is the author of Exodus Cry's "Intervention Manual: A Guide for Reaching Those in the Sex Industry," utilized in 30 countries, and currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Join us for this special edition of our podcast.

  • The Tolerance Lie with Dr. Alex McFarland

In our culture, it’s common to hear about a focus on tolerance. Yes, we are to be respectful and caring of others, but our culture has bought into a tolerance lie that claims Christians must be accepting of views opposing our faith to be more inclusive of others. How should we address this concerning situation?

Today, we’re joined by an expert in worldview and religions who speaks worldwide on the issues of our time. Dr. Alex McFarland, co-host of “Exploring the Word” and founder of Truth for a New Generation ministries, recently addressed these concerns in an article in Townhall called “The Tolerance Lie.” As we talk, you’ll discover a refreshing biblical approach to doing what is right in a world gone wrong.

  • The Dangers of Hijacking Jesus with Jason Jimenez

In the postmodern era, the rise of progressive voices "remaking Jesus" is becoming more common. Progressive teachers are gaining popularity and acceptance among self-identified Christians unfamiliar with the historical and biblical narrative of Jesus Christ.

In this modernized version of Christianity, progressive Christians are deceptively challenging Protestant churches with their conventional belief of Jesus as more of a "Liberator" than a "Savior." This portrayal of Jesus hijacks the Son of God and carries major historical, theological, and spiritual implications, according to the Bible.

In this episode, we’re joined by Jason Jimenez, President of Stand Strong Ministries and author of the book “Hijacking Jesus.” He’s a popular speaker, especially with youth, where he has often served as faculty for Summit Ministries and other leading Christian organizations. Formerly, he served as a special assistant to President George W. Bush and as a deputy director of the White House Office of Public Liaison.
