The fight to protect children in our nation continues to grow. Children are undergoing life-changing surgeries in an attempt to change their gender. Others are taking medications to help them look more like another gender. What are Christians to do in response?
In this podcast, we bring you the story of one courageous woman in the medical profession who has stood up for the rights of children at risk. Vanessa Savidge, a registered nurse at the Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, landed her dream job in the nation’s largest children’s hospital. However, she soon discovered questionable practices that led her to speak out.
Her whistleblower efforts led to national attention to the issue of gender surgeries for children but have come at a great personal cost. Vanessa joins us today to discuss her story that she shared during our SoCon Conference this year in Washington, D.C. You won’t want to miss this powerful story.

What we believe about life determines how we live. This makes our worldview one of the most powerful aspects of our daily lives. But many of us take little time to develop our worldview, picking up values from our family, friends, and the culture around us. How can we grow in a BIBLICAL worldview?
John Stonestreet, the president of the Colson Center for Christian Worldview, joins us for this vital issue. He’s a sought-after author and speaker on areas of faith and culture, theology, and worldview. John is also the daily voice of Breakpoint, the nationally syndicated commentary on the culture, founded by the late Chuck Colson.
His Colson Fellows program and other resources have changed the lives of countless individuals worldwide. We’re honored to have him with us today to discuss the importance of a biblical worldview.

The Christian life isn’t about doing things the easy way—it’s about living like Christ even during difficult times. God wants you to change the world and walk with the Holy Spirit no matter what call He places on your life.
Christians Engaged President Bunni Pounds addresses these topics in her book “Jesus and Politics: One Woman’s Walk with God in a Mudslinging Profession.” With nearly two decades of serving in politics as a believer, she offers important principles of supernatural stories of God at work among leaders in our government.
Bunni is also a dear friend and her organization Christians Engaged recently merged with Family Policy Alliance Foundation as we seek to mobilize one million Christians to pray, vote, and engage. We’re excited to bring you her story changing the future of America.

Today’s school boards are under attack. There is a clear need for social conservative and Christian voices to rise to the challenges facing our campuses and communities.
Where do we begin? One strategic way is to get involved in your local school board.
Family Policy Alliance Vice President of Education Amanda Banks joins us to discuss the FPA’s School Board Academy.
Amanda has served as a state legislator and worked with Focus on the Family where she was a media spokesperson for Dr. James Dobson. In this episode, she dives into how the School Board Academy transforms local school board members to help children and their families.
Equipping state lawmakers and school board members is personal for her, offering an opportunity to impact our nation with pro-life and pro-family values. We’re excited to share her story and work that is changing the next generation across America.

The battle for our kids rages in today’s culture. We don’t like to talk about it, but children nationwide are being harmed through dangerous sex-change surgeries and other so-called “gender-affirming” treatments. What can be done to help?
In this podcast, I’m excited to bring you the shocking account of a surgeon who has helped make a major impact in this area at great personal risk.
Dr. Eithan Haim is a General and Trauma Surgeon in Texas. He helped expose Texas Children’s Hospital, the largest children’s hospital in the world, for lying to the public about the existence of their pediatric sex change program.
He has faced four federal penalties and the legal battle is ongoing. But his work has also helped to change laws in his state where the Texas Senate passed legislation banning surgical and hormonal interventions on children who believe they are transgender. You won’t want to miss this exciting discussion!

Even before the attack by Hamas on October 7, Israel was a center of conflict.
In search of the truth, Dr. Jeff Myers, the president of Summit Ministries, joined a small group of leaders on a wartime visit to Israel after October 7th. There, they met journalists, military officials, survivors, and, hostage families. What Dr. Myers learned is not at all what he expected.
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is not just a geographical battle over land. It is a battle of worldviews. Dr. Myers recently released a book on this issue called “Should Christians Support Israel?” and spoke on the topic at our 2024 SoCon Conference in Washington, D.C.

It is shocking to learn from a new Barna survey that “theologically-defined Evangelicals are no more likely than anyone else to be attentive to news about politics and government,” with less than half reporting that they follow these kinds of current events.
The study also confirms that around one-third of Evangelicals do not participate in elections, which means that the voices of Evangelicals may be missing by the millions in the 2024 presidential election.
In this episode, Family Policy Alliance Foundation CEO Craig DeRoche talks with Troy Miller, President of the NRB, the National Religious Broadcasters. The group serves as the largest association of religious broadcasters in the U.S. Troy recently released a statement on this new study by Dr. George Barna that is creating a lot of discussion among believers, emphasizing the important role every American believer has in participating in the election process.

Lynn has facilitated conversations between Pray.com and the President of the United States, the President of the United Nations General Assembly, and the Vatican City State.
