Claire Ellerbrock is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Columbus, Ohio. Claire found that while her graduate program prepared her for being a nurse practitioner, she could have benefitted from more support in the transition period into practice. This realization led her to create NP for NPs: Nurtured Path For Nurse Practitioners, an online course and coaching program that guides NP students and recent grads in the transition period from graduation into practice. Claire provides resources about board certification and licensure, how to effectively interview, negotiate job offer contracts, and find clinical support once in the role. Her vision is to help empower all NPs to recognize their value and agency in practice.

Claire is also passionate about health equity and providing quality mental health care to marginalized and under-served populations. Claire received her DNP from Kent State University, MSN from Case Western Reserve University, and BA in Psychology from Washington University in St Louis.
